I am a Madge fan. I love his ethic and steadfastness. I think it’s exactly what the Tigers need.

I also totally acknowledge that it’s only round 2 so rash decisions shouldn’t be made.

But if Madge doesn’t drop Brooks then I’m afraid to say that my faith in him is shaken.

But Madge extended Brooks
Rod meets back

I can forgive that. We all made the mistake in believing in Luke. Cest la vie

Man .. you sold out ?

Just trying to give Madge the benefit of the doubt. I like the guy. I want to get behind him.

Think we bite the bullet and proceed with Hastings
No more crocks like Reynolds @ co
..and while were at it,write off Joey and accept that Roosters were correct on his winger buddy

He’s pushing ? up hill if you ask me

Run out of excuses now. Forwards are doing a job. Benji not over calling. It’s in Brooks and he’s not delivering.

What did we see in Kepaoa? I’m seriously worried about our ‘talent’ identification

Big, tall, fast and can score a try. Let's not act like he's got no good qualities, he has defensive issues which is very common In young rookies but the main issue is the hands which can also be fixed. Plenty of time for him to be developed still and he's cheap

As usual, Brooks proves me right. He genuinely is one of the worst players to ever play 150 NRL games. No slight on him as a person, but he's a genuinely poor footballer.

He's played the most games of any first grader that's never played in the finals. Sure we haven't been a great team and he's played under a few coaches, but he's also been one of the few constants in this lean patch. We've had plenty of talented enough players around him but time and time again he's proven he's out of his depth.

I seriously hope he’s carrying injury because he looks way off NRL standard, shaky handling, not a try threat and no strong carries out of yardage.

Carrying an injury doesn’t cause you to kick the ball into the back fence every time you put in an attacking kick

I think his yardage carries are fine, a few times he was no chance of getting anywhere. If he gets some space he can create something but has only happened once so far and he threw a bad pass

I am extremely confused with Brooks. He seems like a great guy, tends to try hard and used to have a good set of skills. Usually, players get worse because their peers move forward but Brooks seems to have gone so far downhill even though he is hitting the "peak age" for a halfback.

Even if he wins a game or two for us, he is not the halfback who is going to get you to Top 4. He may be able to do that at another club, another structure etc but it's not possible here anymore. I still have a lot of respect for him as a person.

I would drop him to State Cup and ask his manager to find other clubs. Madden to halfback. Madden has a year to show us what he has got.

It has to happen now that Madden comes up to the NRL. To do it next week might be a challenge as it’s M Pearce’s 300 in Newcastle. Maybe leave that to Luke for one last time.

douie was so slow at full back even gillard out ran him, how can he be half back?

I know it's early and to be fair Douihe needs more games at six to really see what he can do. However, I am wondering if Daine Laurie just might be the answer in the halves. He takes the line on, can make a break and has played plenty of footy there. Just wondering........

No to Laurie in the halves. In the first trial game he played there. Defence was poor and completely lacking in in structured attack. Was like watching Benji without the passing game, he was running around and no-one had any idea what he was doing.

A good player, but fullback is his position.
