The brooks haters have “we haven’t made the finals in 10 years” . Neglecting the fact that for 6 of those years not the last 4 , I’ll give you that , but the first 6 , the team was built around other players . And in actuality , this is the first year , maybe last year at a pinch , that the team was actually built around brooks . So we have educated reasoning , backed up by evidence , on one side , and straight quackery and emotional hyperbole on the other .

This is the first year. Last year Brooks was sent back to the bench as Madge wrestled with who between him and Marshall was the way forward.
This year Madge has backed Brooks to the hilt.
Empowered him with more leadership responsibility, tasked with guiding the team.
I guess he is (Madge) living and dying by his own sword.
