I know he won the man of Steel - Yadda, Yadda , Yadda) So did Rangi Chase and Ben Barba - Todd Carney also won a Dally M on one year he didn't get close to repeating.

If he works, I'll eat my hat... He's not even close to the level of player we need. Having seen him play in the UK - I would suggest he's at about Kyle Flanagans Level, We can almost get him for free....

You've not kept up with what he's doing over there? The fans and his team mates absolutely love him. Does a lot of good work off the field, sheens gave him a big wrap too.

Many of them mock him for his online / media persona - And how he's selling himself to get back to NRL.
Totally different to how he really is, It's a running joke over there.

Disagree completely with that statement about the fans, mate of mine lives in Swinley (bees penis from Wigan) and is a die hard Wigan fan. Going off his account of how the fans see him, he'll be greatly missed. Most seem to love him and he in turn has a lot of time for the fans and engages them whenever possible.

I've personally followed him for a while on Insta and fail to see where you'd get the 'Selling himself to get back to NRL'. There's literally nothing on his Insta suggesting this. His entire feed is posts of him playing for Wigan with the odd personal post of his days off.

The forum will go to great lengths to talk up how good a guy he is once he signs. When LM was linked to us for months, you should have seen everyone fawning over him for going up to his hometown and helping with the bushfires. Once he signed with Souths, he was back to being a grub.

Yeah valid point and any wishing to leave the SL to come back to NRL generally find a away. He wouldn't be the worst option. Better game manager than Brooks that's for sure.

If he compares anywhere near to Barba or Carney in talent will do me … and even Chase represented NZ Maoris and England.
Whatever level you think he’s at doesn’t matter as long as it’s above Brooks bottom rung performances.

Here's a thought - Before you bang on about what I don't know, Do some research yourself...
I don't even care - But know that he played for the Dragons before the Roosters pilfered him. Was big news at the time... He came through the Dragons...
Dragons - Roosters - Manly... I'll leave the math to you.

He is so far below Brooks level it's frightening... Anyhow, No point arguing with Genius - I'll look out for you when you're back this time next year calling for his head.

Don’t hear NYC or junior football being noted much when playing careers are mentioned… it’s first grade.
Even if you do include it then you would be hard pressed to say he didn’t work out there as you say yourself he was poached by the Roosters.
Maybe we should we do some digging regards his stint in the under 9’s and see how he worked out there?
As for being so far below Brooks?
You’ve got a lot of love for somebody who’s never lived up to their hype…. all the losses he’s been involved with must bring you so much pleasure.
I’ll take a punt on Hastings over our proven dud Brooks.

Doueihi is a good player, one of our better players. I am sorry he appears to have another knee injury, I always believed his future is in 13 and is the mobile, ball playing lock we have been after. He needs to polish up on his defence and fitness for the role.

Hastings is an inferior player to Blake Austin. Anyone who thinks he's going to save us is willfully ignorant.

Daine Laurie at 6 and Jock Madden at 7 and bring Logen Dillon into the 1 jersey during the offseason. All youth all the time next year imo. At least they are unknown quantities.

Yikes, if you think our defence is bad now, imagine how bad it would be with that 1, 6 and 7.
