The fact that brooks was player of year is beyond me weeks ago alot of people wanted him gone now cause he won our player of the year everyone is singing his praises should of been AD or daine to win

I think you have there the crux of the next crisis to face WT. 2022 season will bring all this to a head - Brooks #7 and Madge persistence in his belief / mania Brooks can be a #7, when there are other options with the club (Hastings) and Sheens etc who probably will see it differently.

Edit- If Maguire keeps shuffling Doueihi about to suit Broooks preference why would Doueihi want to stay at the club.

Seems funny that our player of the year was voted by the same coaches who were judged so incompetent they got the boot. Madge has to wake up or he’s next. At least we know who the real coach killer is now.

Brooks and Maguire are at odds with each other because they both carry the pressure of being most responsible.
Maguire is the only coach to drop Brooks. Accountabilty has never gone well with players at the club - "eggshells" leak.
Maguire can't afford to persist with him at 7, if the results are not up to standard or he has no hope of keeping his job.
