Luke Garner playing centre?

I was impressed with Luke Garner yesterday. I didn't know anything about him so I found some material - along with Paws response in the ISC page. He played second-row for us yesterday but I found that he has played centre - It would be interesting to see him play in that position in the reggies - he could be a real possibility for FG. That Doggie squad has some good players. Don't forget that most of that team played and beat Penrith in the trials. But yes we need to see him against some of the stronger clubs. I notice that we will play last years premiers - the Wyong Roos - in Round 3 and the Warriors in round 5\. I await.

Yes he could but i believe they are considering Mikaele or McKintyre for spot 29..

Yep still 2 spots if we want to use them. From what I understand we have been given exemption from having to name a 29th player because of the Curtis Sironen situation but apparently this can be changed and we can add a player. Plus we can have 30.

He was at poor at centre last year for us.

We don't need another big and slow centre. We need pace. He stays in the backrow and maybe he can be a difference maker in the NRL one day.
