So much for the handshakes at the end aye. Its funny how far a bow people will draw sometimes. I'll be keeping my eyes on Thurston after the game on Monday because if our boys all go up and shake his hand and pat him on the back it might mean we've signed him :unamused:
 
Lol if he wasent in leichhardt doesent mean his not comming and all the news say today all the clubs will offer there contracts to him. And plus mabe he doesent want to go with his old mates agian. And wants to make new mates with us so lets just wait and see lol.
 
Watch this space - If he has signed with the Sharks its a MASSIVE mistake.

I hear there is going to be a bombshell dropped that will blow the club to bits…i heard this from a credible sourse that a certain player has really screwed up BIGTIME and this isn't the first or 2nd time either.

I'm not going to mention names or details but lets just say it will be all over for him of 100% true.
 
shame if we dont get him, people keep crying for a top class halfback. Maybe you should mention who you would sign. They don't exactly grow on trees :bash
 
More rumours…

I'd like to know if it's 100% that benji will be our number 7 for good now thus, we only need a back up half.. but that's for another thread.... Players like luke Lewis don't come on market everyday and I'm confident we have done all we can to snare him...

Which club are you referring to ?
 
Guys, please remember that any allegations of names or clubs will be deleted. Media reports on their own are fine.
 
It's seems likely he will be at Sharks which is a shame as he would of been very handy.

But let's hope we find a couple other decent players to use the money with, like a prop and maybe some speed in the backline
 
Don't get all this talk about wanting to sign another top line prop, we have 2 of the best already so which top prop is going to come here for a bench spot? IMO Bell is one of the best bench props we could hope to get

If we don't get Lewis I would play Bell at Lock in 2013…

I'd like to think Bell still has value next year and deserves to be retained if he's keen but he's not getting any younger - would think if we are full strength he'd be on bench as a prop/ lock etc.. Sure he's been possibly the buy of the year for us all things considered but it doesn't say much really If he's in our starting side next year at full strength –- oh sorry this is a Luke Lewis thread and do we still have a chance at signing him ?

I agree, we will have enough front rowers next year: 8\. Woods & 10\. Galloway, and bench/reserves Pettybourne, Thompson, Bell, Moors, Cashmere, Groat, Curran, Brown etc.
