Mad Monday

BULLDOGS BLOW IT BIG TIME
The Canterbury Bulldogs' "louts only" recruitment policy paid handsome dividends after the 2012 grand final, when players urinated on their home ground field in full view of the media, before a controversy over obscene comments initially believed to have been directed at a female journalist.
Canterbury later investigated and ruled that the comments were part of player-on-player sledging, then announced they would donate $30,000 to a charity as a "we're sorry" gesture over the mishandling of their Mad Monday celebrations.

So who's your prediction to make headlines this year. And which player will find themselves in trouble with the law.

The AFL has already set a pretty good benchmark.

You know at the time people were quite offended. I was just impressed that he managed to lay one inside a shoe.

I mean, I've never tried it, I just imagine if you are three sheets to the wind it is a fairly impressive feat of balance and muscular endurance.

To light a dwarf you just need to remove your common sense and chuck a match.

I'm more impressed he could say it when half cut. It's a tongue-twister at the best of times!

My favorite Julian story is how he tried to set the kid in the mascot suit on fire on a cruise, then stripped to his undies and jumped overboard got to a beach and got a lift but cut himself up on the rocks.

Classic

Yeah you can't make that stuff up! On a similar note I recall one of the McDougalls when he was at Norths having his number called out for the drug testing. Quick as a flash he had the jumper off and legged it shirtless down the main street of North Sydney. Geniuses at work..

I just hope that when the Cowboys have their mad Monday, someone has the good sense to let Lui crash over for the night rather than sending him home to the missus.

Blake ferguson started a month or so back. Not sure if that's fair. Maybe a pineapple cruiser roof party for the Canberra side.

Should've been more specific. I meant the urinating part.

Still hit the headlines.

They pee'd on a fence inside the grounds and the cameras positioned themselves to capture it. Absolutely zero story there. But they mouthed off at a reporter which kicked everything off.

dont you get fined for peeing in public?
not the club- the individuals involved im talking about.

just hate how they get away with crap like this. all the obstruction plays last year- which got them the minor premiership. GRRRRRRRR :imp:

They weren't really in public. They were in their own grounds. Reporters peeked through the gate and angled themselves to get the shot. Thats the point.

The telegraph is going crazy this week, with no big outrage stories. Richard Hinds had a go at the Panthers for having a private party with lingerie girls serving drinks. Now Nick Walshaw is having a go at the ARLC for stopping the players having their fun. Pathetic!!

Just hand Lui straight over to the police to save them the time and the hassle of having to chase him down
