Mad Monday

Pretty normal for coaching staff to drop and have a few drinks with the lads

I wouldn't expect them to still be going at 2.00 am this morning with them though

They would of been there for control reasons , Potter last words would of been behave or be gone when he left

so I saw them at the Glasgow Arms in Ultimo. They were there the whole hour that I was - from 12:30-1:30pm

As well as Payten, Kidwell was also there.

Potter was not

Was Robert Lui there ???? We know what follows next….hahahaha...I just have one piece of advice for his Mrs....DUCK !!!

Bloody Melancholy Monday in my books. It's the fans that need Mad Monday. I've been mad for 6 weeks!

Can someone please explain why the players are scullingbschooners right now - **wearing spandex, skirts, wigs & lipstick** be so happy after they left their supporters/ fans miserable - except for those @ the old girl on Saturday.

Because they have the mentality of 12 yr olds

A bit harsh….your beloved Motley Crue made a living out of that very get-up!

Sometimes get some drops in at my business on Mad Mondays by sportsmen and women

The worst problems we ever had were a mixed netball team which had some coppers and their partners in it (among others )

Got that bad , we had to call the police and then the cops tried to make us out that we were in the wrong despite the video footage

Must admit the problems we had weren't from the police , they were other team members ,the police had gone to the next watering hole

Jason Taylor dropped in for a few beers when he was coaching South's, and found some of the guys didn't like him. He ended up on the floor.

When you coach or are on the coaching staff it's a long long season .it starts way before the players get involved and for me i think you should distance your self from the players on mad Monday .as for dressing up ,each to their own I suppose .

My ''beloved Motley Crue'' haha. As far as my music goes, when it comes to my favourite bands and my ''beloved'' bands, they wouldn't even be in my top 10, maybe even top 15\. Nice try.

Anyone who doesn't agree with Mad Monday never bonded with their teammates. Having a few too many drinks and dressing silly is all good fun.

And anyone who has issues with the coaching staff have a few ales with the boys needs to climb off their high horse

I disagree happy ..have a beer with them , but that's how the problems start …they get on the drink with them and become friends and the. When the hard decision has to be made they can't make them because they are mates , same goes with fathers In the juniors . Every old man believes his kid is the best and do t they love telling you ...sure have a few at seasons end ,the. Let the boys go their own way .

So if you win a premiership 1/4 and the club is having a massive party for the players and fans , the coaches should just sit at homes with the wives ??

Because that's exactly what you are saying

A good coach ,boss ,parent should be able to separate the two

Next thing you'll be telling us we can't have a drink at our kids 18th ,21st or weddings

Or going to Christmas parties with our staff

Or throwing the occasional milestone birthday for staff

With your logic the only time we would be able to celebrate is at the funerals …......

I think you're taking that way out of context happy. The coach should be able to have a beer with the players. But they have no place being there on mad monday.
How many mad mondays do you think Bellamy, Bennett or Hasler have been on?
There's a time and a place for coaches to have a beer with players, 9.00am on a monday morning dressed in drag isn't one of them.
