No player in the history of football has ever given the slightest toss about a CEO's haircut.
You’re over simplifying it.
Experience A : ultra professional operation invites me to tour their world class sporting facilities, presents me with a folder containing a list of additional benefits I can expect when I sign on the dotted line later that day.
Wests Tigers: unshaven sloppy looking guy buys me a coffee, hopes I get back to him in the next month or two. I won’t.
seriously mate?
Mate, I just managed to rattle off 13 current origin players we have either released or tried to sign but failed.
Until we look inwardly at why we are stuffed.
Sometimes the truth hurts.
And none of that had anything to do with a guy having a shave.
It is a direct portrayal of professionalism. I know it shouldn’t matter, but it does.
I've shaved max 10 times in the last 10 years and has never made a difference for me professionally.
Ever signed a footy player to a multi million dollar deal? Like it or not footy is a business, and image is part of it. Our image is not good.
Na, but have been Principal at multiple schools, ran my own business doing strategic planning for small to medium sized businesses and now run a multi million $ business and my appearance has never been of any consequence.
I’m sure you are a successful person and your appearance shouldn’t matter one way or another but Wests Tigers are in direct competition with Nick Politis (billionaire) and News Ltd (multi- billion dollar company).
We need to present better or we’ll continue to be the worst option.
Nick Politis Is chairperson of the Roosters, not the CEO. Perhaps you should be comparing Nick Politis with Lee Hagipantelis.
Couldn’t care less what his title is, he gets things done that’s all that matters.
It matters. So like I said earlier perhaps we should be looking at Board level and asking for a please explain?
