Madge and Pascoe

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has heard anything similar to what i'm about to share.

Was speaking to a mate of mine today, late 40s, successful businessman etc (just highlighting to provide some context of credibility - take it what you will), he used to play for Parra back in the day, is good mates with Mark O'Neil (buckets) and a lot of the old tigers players because he grew up in Balmain.

Anyway he told me today that he had heard, it was supposed to come out in the media this week about the fractured relationship between Madge and Pascoe, and that Madge thinks Pascoe is hopeless.

Anyway my only intention is to see if anyone else had heard something similar. I'm not saying that its true. But my mate is a solid guy.

thanks mate - just googled it. Not sure what that does for us if true.... one of them has to go... hopefully Pascoe

This club will find any reason to create drama and disharmony. I'm sick of it. Just do your jobs. No one in this club should be untouchable, including both Pascoe and Madge. Hit your KPIs (whatever they are) or get out.

There is a lot of finger pointing at the club both from within and outside, highlighted by the fact we keep missing finals footy.

Benny Ellias was asked why he wanted to buy into the club and what he would change and he pointed more towards to Coach being held accountable. He mentions the board as well.

I know it doesn’t shed any light on the question being asked but it goes to show what people’s opinions are of what’s happening at the organisation.

What? Pascoe is hopeless? The board is hopeless? 😂
If that comes as breaking news to anyone then I envy you 😂
I have a suspicion that debentures when issued are linked to profit.
You can’t get on the board unless you hold a debenture.
Now I’m gonna call in blind Freddy to get an opinion on the outcome here 😂

Don't know any of this, but interesting, Pascoe hired Madge?

We are having a very poor start to the season, I believe it would be natural that tensions are running high, winning fixes every thing.

Pretty sure the coaches for the last decade have been held accountable. The players certainly haven't always though.

Don’t worry it’ll come out after a loss....we won last week so it probably band aided things for an extra week

At present, not a fan of either to be honest. The club is making money, its about to open the COE, the junior system seems to be going gangbusters, community programs are the envy of most clubs and the their appears to solid future plans (ignore Lee), so Pascoe is reaching some benchmarks. I was a big fan of Madge, but that's waned of late, the 1st grade is struggling, we will our second game of the year and everyone acts like we've reached the finals, the players don't seem to have "bought in" and he doesn't seem to be able to change his coaching to match the team he has.
Either way, I expect them to be professional and do their freaking jobs. If they can't or won't, then its time to go.

It's probably Benny the shafter that is spreading this rumour
Bring the club to its knees and buy it for a song
Or at least pressure for a sale
You have to ask yourself
Was it Benny that informed the media of the so called tensions between Madge and Pascoe
If he can pry one away from the club all of a sudden we are the laughing stock again
It makes his intentions to take over the club easier
Don't trust Benny
He is in this for himself
If he really wants to help, become a 3rd party investor so we can top up 3rd party payments to snare some key players
He can start with "The Cheese" "Finucane " and
"Coates"

Benny can see our junior system is starting to fire
This will stand us in good sted in the near future
If he comes in now he will try to take credit for all the hard work we have done with our junior system
The results are already showing

So no to Benny

Not doubting what your mate said. Mark O’Neil has a bit of history.

All of this is based on speculation....none of us really know what the truth is-it's all rumour so the chance of any of this being true is highly debatable

Here is the most likely scenario.

Hooper writesan article based on some evidence like a joke about Pascoes hair. Your mate read it. Told it to you. You tell it here. It aligns with “what others have heard “ (Hoopers article) and the cycle of rubbish is complete

I think the Tigers should move on from Pascoe at the end of the season and bring back Mark ONeil as GM and Tim Sheens to be director of coaching. The club needs help with pathways and improving coaching across all levels. The executive also needs more rugby league acumen.

I also think one of the directors should be a former player of more recent years as they need a fresh perspective. Put Robbie on.

Pascoe's results are the club in the black.

Maguire ..........

Awesome 👏

I remember when Pascoe first came in and said one home ground would be his priority 😆

He’s useless ..punt Pascoe

So what if it is true and they don't like each other....

Can anyone here say they have always liked their boss or a boss who have always liked their employee..it has zero to do with improving results..

They both just have to do their jobs..it's not high school..

COE and in the black. It doesn't give a whiff of failure.

They should have got Humphrey B. Bear or Top Cat to replace O'Neill, all seem to go for the pants optional look. People complain about Pascoe's stubble and hairstyle
