Pretty uninspiring. On one hand you can say “its just a trial”. Because the same way you can’t put stock into trial wins, you also can‘t really take much away from losses. Having said that, tonight wasn’t much different to what we saw for all of 2021. And I haven’t been enthusiastic at all in the off season, so nothing has changed my stance.

Yeah and also pre season interviews from other players said defensive and attacking structures changed.

You could see our starting forwards would hit outside in and we had 2-3 high up often. Lets see if that can last for a season.

Our attack we can’t rate tonight.
No Hastings or Laurie = structure will be vastly different when they play next week.

Would it really surprise you? He’s not exactly enthusiastic about his role at this club. He’s spinning his wheels till he can go back to the foot of the mountains at the end of the season to take up a cushy off field role.

It was a very ordinary interview by Tamou. Wasn’t prepared for it. Way to invoke confidence into the supporter base. Changed nothing….then a heap of spin about players taking more responsibility. Heard it all before…
