If I was Michael Maguire I would just walk . He doesn’t deserve to be tormented by these serial non committed pretenders. 75% of this team need to be shown the door. Unfortunately Maguire will be the fall guy just like the last 10 years. Ground Hog Day!

But deep down in a dark dark place I'll know that with him coaching it won't happen.

Hang in mate. You’re just 100% emotionally invested like so many other fans. Despite differing opinions on players, coach etc, you stick with a team and club that has been one of the most consistently poor performing clubs in the NRL and that’s something that you and all rusted on WT fans should be proud of. It’s easy to support the Storm.

Cameron Ciraldo should be our priority, highly regarded and players love him he can maybe bring some quality players with him to the club and be our coach for the next decade he’s pretty young

He’ll have a bunch of cash more than around 2 mil to work with, with a good young core and new faculties coming in it may be appealing with sheens also being around

If not I wouldn’t mind Bennet for 2 years, a combo of Sheens and Bennet will bring success and make us attractable to players with sheens covering youth with Hartigan and Bennet focussing on getting the team prepared

Wouldn’t be totally against Shane Flanagan but I’d prefer the other two

Tinkler ruined Newcastle, not Bennett. It won’t happen, but his name alone would do wonders for recruitment.

If we make a change it has to be for someone better.
Of the available options there is no one that I can see is better.
I doubt there would be anyone in the club house that didn’t respect him, they sure as hell wouldn’t mail in performances with him at the very least.
I would think a Bennett and Sheens combo would command some respect and bring some much needed gravitas.

He rooted Newcastle. His coaching of England was very unprofessional also.

The club need to figure out what the issue is and fast. Whether it’s Madge or Hartigan or the two not gelling I have no idea but they have to cut someone.

At the moment, the only thing keeping Madge in a job is his previous record at other clubs.

I think we are better off sacking Madge for 2022, promote a junior coach.. upgrade Juniors and pay off Brooks/Noffa/Musgrove. Front load all the contracts that could hold us back in 2023 and go all in.. If we can't get rid of them, pay the fine to be over the cap for 2023 but at least we would have gotten some good players.

Use 2022 as the final year to start at 0.

He’s gone. That performance today was the biggest **"stuff you"** I’ve ever seen delivered from a disgraceful, impassioned, imbecile playing group - who most don't even deserve to be playing and aren’t even worth their salary weight in salt - to a coach. Would be surprised to see him last tomorrow.

Even with more than $1 million of cap space available for next season, there's no way Ciraldo would be interested with Ivan in his ear ..
