However, I have lost a lot of respect for them this year after how they handled that situation and then the fact they sacked Taupau simply for liking a post. Piss weak and their priorities are way out of whack. Disgusting culture.
I think it's his personality that players can't identify with. I think you'll always find players that are happy to do the work, but apparently he is so intense about it on a persoal level, he struggles to connect with people.

If you saw the Elijah Taylor video he posted he spoke exactly about this. It wasn't necessarily the players didn't want to work hard, it was the always on 24/7 extremely intense personality which was draining.
Yeah mate I think this is his biggest problem. I think players can lock in like he does for 2 or 3 games, then they need a mental break. I'd guess that's why he is very strong in his rep teams due to the short nature of exposure to his intensity.
I don't think it's priorities.
