He had the best squad on paper this year but same argument could be said for all of Bennetts GF wins, and Trent Robinson’s as well. Not to be a downer but I reckon he had the best squad on paper in 2014 and likewise 2025
Do you watch Super League? How strong was his wigan squad? He had the best squad on paper this year but same argument could be said for all of Bennetts GF wins, and Trent Robinson’s as well.
I was watching it a lot more back then. It was a strong squad but at the time Wigan, St Helens and Leeds were dominating.Do you watch Super League? How strong was his wigan squad?
Maybe south’s offered Reynolds two years but only wanted to pay him for the time was going to be in it 🤷🏻♂️Not sure who has more egg on their face. Us with Madge, or Souths with Reynolds. To think they only thought he was worth one year.
I wonder if Madge was consulted during the review processBeen said a million times, ill say it again, Madge wasnt the problem, the 2 dipshits at the club above him were the problem.
He had arguably a worse squad under him then the 1999 Western Suburbs team.
If he was at the Tigers this season with the 7 first grade players we have in our current squad we would have given the 8 a real shake up.
Such a shame he was chased out before the other 2 were given the arse.
Credit where it's due for Madge taking them to a premiership but let's see what transpires over the next 2 seasons.
Let's see if he starts to wear out his welcome with his constant intensity at training.
Could history repeat like it did at Souths, jury's out.
Lol your logic is F killing me jad, well put.Perhaps so,but don't you think any club would swap a couple of poor to average seasons for a premiership?I know that i always would because a premiership is what it is all about at the end of the season.Being beaten in a Grand Final just makes you the best loser with 15 others tailed behind you.
There is no substitute for a premiership imho.
Madge was shafted by the bunnies. Siebold white anted him by spreading that training too hard crap and everyone fell for it. The rat thought he was new age and convinced everyone his "train smarter, not harder" BS was the way to go. We've seen how that worked at Brisbane, then Manly.Credit where it's due for Madge taking them to a premiership but let's see what transpires over the next 2 seasons.

Halfway through this season at the Broncs Madge seemed to be on shaky ground with the club a quote from Ikin was he must adapt or die.Madge was shafted by the bunnies. You saw what Adam Reynolds had to say about Madge last night.
