Looking back and since Madges tenure he has had Brooks try play as a controlling structured play maker.
This has been part of our problem with Brooks copping alot of flack with all our failures.
Sheens said it best the other night you play to the strengths of the roster that you have and imo we don't, we try play a power game no matter what with out having the luxury of having a team of big meter eating players and Brooks isn't a structured player this all falls back on Madge trying to play like souths year after year.
Not trying to defend Luke Brooks but he isn't the number 7 to play Madge ball and his form has dwindled he isn't a controlling player and Madge needs to realise this before he gets the sack for our performances.
Brooks best attributes are his running game, tackling and used to have a good short kicking game. He isn't a number 7 who can pull off pin point bombs set after set.
Let the guys off the leash Madge if this really is Brooks team let him go play to his strengths let him play what's in front of him whats the worst that can happen? We still suck or it might work both him and Madges careers are just about done here otherwise.
The whole team lacks confidence and this Madges doing he is to hung up on a style that worked like 8 years ago.
