Not quite…according to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Western_Suburbs_home_jersey_1908.svg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false😉, a similar jersey - with narrower stripes - was the original jersey 1908-1915

Gotta agree, what a boring old looking jersey. Both Wests and Balmain had the V, I'd rather they stick with those designs.
