Did anyone see Sheens at the Game casting his eye over the boys?

Probably flew in from Melbourne mid arvo, doubt he would've gone to the game.

Tell me this isnt true???

Very few clubs get a chance to have a REAL trial once the season starts. Surely Tim Sheens was at this game, and if not, I think we all deserve an explanation!!!

Well done to Balmain.

The Magpies must like smashing you guys in tackles because they kept giving you guys the ball back!!!

Oh George Keppa. The 2nd Balmain try was terrible. George was getting taken out over the side line and he threw the ball back in to a balmain boy who only had to ground the ball to score. Doh!!!

Geez, we have two losses this year and both times to you orange folk and both time after it looked like we should have won.

Anyway it was a good day out at Campbelltown, especially good to see some former magpie supporters getting out to the game to once again support the boys.

Gentle and McDonnell were there as well as the high performance managers assistant…taking notes for Sheensy to read with his slippers and cocoa....

Galah's....Agree wasn't 1 of Georgie's better games....

On a slanging note…

why wasn't BRET playing in their red strip.

The boys who pay the bills wont be happy about that!

The Magpies know all about paying bills….
The referees are on a good wicket there..

see what happens when a classy halfback gets to play half back

They gave him big wraps on the radio feed. Was he that good today or did he just do his job right?

Was he that good today?? He has been this good for years..
But i'm sure Manbags thinks he's a better winger or fullback..

Hey at least you knew who was paying the bills. Was good to see you were playing the part supporting the RE in BRET

As for the ref he made a few bad calls but I'd say they evened themselves out. No real complaints.

That really sucks. When I read he was back I had concerns considering his brother had been out longer with a similar injury.

So who dropped off the extended bench to make way for Al & David? Who were the standouts from BRET (already read Geos opinion on Pies players)

As for the Ryde Eastwood jibes it is pretty sad especially considering you seem unaware that the return for the supporting funds does not include a caveat on how many times the jersey is used. It is far more about knowledge share etc.

I do applaud the Magpies though for playing the game in an area which provides zero financial support to the football side. A goo dreward for local juniors to play on their local big ground

We are first and second on the NSW Cup ladder. It is better having 2 strong feeder clubs than 1 strong feeder club.

I've always been a believer in that.

Knowledge share. You kidding me.

Isn't the word on the street that Ryde Eastwood are going to pull out?
