who was the big guy in the magpies jacket standing on the western side in the second half at leichhardt on saturday? smeg or ALIEN ?? also seen him on the footy show in the audience..

Probably alien. I'll get out there this week to watch both sides, should be interesting although I doubt Sheens will take notice of anyone out there.

yeah yourright Willow, Sheens goes to these games, but I wonder why?
They should play the theme song to Cheers over the Campbelltown clear speakers..and change the words to …..

"Where Coach Sheens doesn't know any of our names"
"And the players don't give a crap, that he came"

Help us get a bumper crowd to this Saturday's Magpies v Tigers clash at Campbelltown. Put a post up on your Facebook page, send emails to all of your friends, call the radio stations, whatever you can think of to make this weekend's game huge. With Wests Tigers having a bye what better way could there be to get your footy fix?

We have several Magpies First Graders as fans on Facebook. Wests would really love to see as many of our former stars at Saturday's match as possible. We would like to offer all of our heros free entry this weekend. To take up the offer call Andrew at the office on 9601 2002\. Contact all of your old team mates and… make a day of it at the footy watching Wests as we take top spot on the ladder off the Tigers!

Certainly wasn't me.

If I had to guess who you were I would guess the fellow on the western side near the tryline whose only words were Go Rhy or Get into em Rhys.

BRET have worn the Ryde Eastwood strip twice this year from memory for two wins, the most recent of which was at Shellharbour. Might have worn them in Aukland as well but ????

ok. The only times I've seen them they have worn the Orange strip. I thought the agreement was the Red strip gets worn for all away games?

I actually think Nicholls will be doing alot of the directing in his first stint. The forwards work well off of him and when again factoring in the lack of training time Lazarus & Taumata get with BRET it is probably a wise move.

If for any reason Carr needs an early break it also means Nicholls is right on speed with the game.

Will be interested in the game day squad as well as I just get the feeling there will be additions and changes to both squads

How is Tohi doing this year overall.

Has always seemed to struggle to get good consistant minutes wherever he has gone. He always has impact just not great minutes. Hope it improves

sure he came from cronulla under 20"s last year ,haven't seen much of him to comment, ill take a closer look on saturday..

Tohi was a Balmain Junior. Played a bit of reserve grade with us when he was quite young.

He was with the Sharks/Cobras last season though.

When the Tigers beat them at Shark Park he was running a support line and stepped left in time with his ball player. Unfortunatley the post was there. Almost knocked the thing down. Still scored the try though

well lets hope he does the same thing on saturday, but instead of hitting the posts to score,i'll be hoping it's meany..

It will be interesting to see how Balmain turn up this week.

We played poorly against Shellharbour and than came out and played to almost the sides ability and destroyed Newtown.

Last week they were flat and disinterested against the Centurions.

Hopefuully they turn out a good display regardless of result on Saturday.

Farlow will be vital for us I think
