I don't mind the idea of AD moving out wide as long as he keeps running hard. The defence will be in 2 minds about whether he's going to kick so it should create running space as they cover off the kick.

My biggest concern is Mbye playing centre field. He just goes sideways too much. If both he and Brooks just attack the line and get even a bit of support play from the guys outside (run some angles, push up ready for an offload) they might be able to get the ball to AD and JL quickly. These guys can create space out wide and put the wingers through.

Loyalty, yes. But also passion. Someone who really cares about what he's doing and why he's doing it.
Passion can be infectious, just hope that it rubs off on those around him and instils the pride and builds commeraderie in our team.
We all hear the same old spiel, but until we play as a "Team" we're just a list of random names on a team sheet.

Support play and bodies in motion are dependant on players putting in the 1%ers, the extra effort for their team-mates.
This comes back to playing for the man beside you.
I do hope Loz can bob up in the back-line in support of AD, as it's sure to pressure the defence.

Great to see the expert NRL coaches with their usual grind against the coach come out with the usual crap,you know the stuff,he has lost the plot,AD is the greatest 5/8 since Lockeyer etc...Madge coaches this squad of rabble that think they are NRL quality,but the results show different.Im willing to let Madge work with this group until they find form and start winning games..after all that is the goal,to win games..
Im sure any of you that can do better can apply to the club and present your resume...
after reading some of the crap on here about the coach I wonder what YOU would do in his place with what he has at hand...I know shut the hell up TT,your an old dinasaur and the game has changed blah blah blah.....:grin:

The whole week everyone’s been talking about mybe and douehie and not a mention of madden playing. He’s got wraps on him so smart if that’s what’s happening. Adam has been excellent in the 6...so I am moving him to center, where he can be excellent.

I like madge and I'm against getting rid of him...but this decision seems odd to say the least. His comments come across like he has game plan and they have been practicing it for weeks and now they can finally give it a go cause the season is over.
To me, if the season is over why not focus on building the spines cohesion and relationship? Why move the one shining light in the miserable 2 months just to see what mbye can do (read sell him off at a higher price) at the expense of a fantastic opportunity to see how AD and Laurie can develop together.
We've tried AD at centre, fullback, wing and everywhere else. He is a 6, he has proven that, playing him at centre just seems backwards. Even if it is to give a shot to Madden, drop Brookes instead and say to Madden if you aren't a 7 then you probably won't get much first grade without injuries.
Out of the whole team, 6 is one of about 5 positions that are set and forget, and we decide to move that player?

Madge as a recruitment is fantastic, as an actual coach I'm not so sure, but sacking him isn't the answer

Madge hasnt said why. I like hearing Todd Payten speak because you get extreme details re the cowboys.

But were 2/5 why? Defense.

We lost, 28/34 vs titans. We cant win concedeing 3 tries each side like that. We clearly brought players that should be defending well in the Centers, like BJ Leulia and James 'jet' Roberts. They are paid enough to use their shoulders...

So the choice was to move a defender to plug a gap OR let our halves pairing GEL but loose the next 5 games/concede 3+ tries min on that side.

I get it now, I agree with Madge.

When you type "cliché definition" into Google you get. "a phrase or opinion that is overused and betrays a lack of original thought." This is pretty harsh and I am not trying to insult you, Google is being a jerk.
This phrase makes sense in certain situations but it does not apply to everything. If a couple has 3 kids, the kids will not be identical.
