I am getting the feeling there is going to be a big turn over of players including Some contracted ones as well .

I hope so, we are in dire need of new blood

It's good that Madge wants to bring in new blood....but who is going to come to us? **What cattle are out there that would improve what we already have?**

Seriously???

I reckon Tamou would be a good buy for 1-2 years. Experience at the highest level, durable as far as injuries go, consistent performer, has a good offload.
Only sticking point would be how much we would have to pay for a bloke past 30 years old.

Where's POM when you need him, I'm sure he/she has some idea of who's gonna stay and who's gonna go.

The last time POM visited (just before we announced Kepaoa) he said that they were close to extending McIntyre.

He also said that they had changed their mind about Eisenhuth and were looking at extending him for one more year.

Given the names on the "off contract" list, they would be the only two I would want to keep.

I'd be happy if Clark signed a deal for 1-2 years on next to nothing, he's someone you'd hope we'd only need in an injury crisis but would do his job when called upon.

I agree, he does a solid job defensively. I expect if we do offer him a contract it will be very late in the piece.

According to our website we have 24 players contracted for 2021. Adding McIntyre and Eisenhuth would make 26, leaving only 4 spots to fill.

We desperately need to add some more quality to the roster, so I expect Clark will only get an offer if there are no quality players left on the market.

Simpkins, Madden and Bradley move off development contracts into the NRL squad in 2021...

Yes, they are included in the 24 players contracted for 2021.

I realised when reviewing the list of players that Paul Momorovski is not included for some reason.

We all understood that he was coming back next year. If true, then that makes 25 players contracted. Add Eiso and Macca and that makes 27.

There is not much scope to substantially upgrade the squad when we have only 3 vacancies.

The two things I took out of Madges interview with the BSB on Sunday was that he took the time out to di it on a weekend the other was the word he used BELIEF he has the belief in the players whilst a few will be moved on but Madge can see something in the playing group thats not far off the players moving on probably already know who they are and they have the remaining games to show their wears to other clubs hopefully it will all click sooner rather than later

Yep,same old, same old from Madge on BSB. Yep, he says "we went away from the good things",he has lot's of belief, he says - "respect for the Warriors, they are a WORLD CLASS team! (since when, have i missed something?). "We are building and growing" yadda yadda.."buying into our culture, got to change and be consistent" another of his monotonous quotes. He knows what we are capable of!! Yes, we saw that against the Warriors a team put together with spare parts and a coach who doesn't want to be there (Payten).

He didn’t call the team world class , he said they have world class players, cause ... they do ! RTS and their back row to start with ! We still should won, but they have some real talent in that team .

The team is building , the deadwood is slowly getting drifted out . Players like Reynolds , McQueen Clarke , Jennings ,Taylor have all had plenty of time to prove it . Even young seyfarth has shown he probably isn’t up to it . Then there’s guys like McIntyre who have proved they are totally up for it and Blore has been a revelation . Throw in the huge amounts of elite juniors who’ve made thier way to the club the last 12 months , and yea we are building .
And No despite brief crops of juniors it’s been a very long time since we have had this amount of young weapons in our junior ranks .

Yes, I'm not referring to the young up- and- comers. I'm just sick of the dead wood, Madge got Jennings over to us, pulleeeease! Jennings not good enough for SG Ball i would rather Michael Jennings with an ACL than his brother.

Not trying to be that guy man but your not going to hit of every recruit. Jennings could have been anything, leading try-scorer looked a decent finisher, good size ok speed. TBH its actually on Jennings as he was given ample opportunity.

Yep , he has a great pedigree . Was coming off an amazing try scoring season, former Aus schoolboy , young , big and strong . He just never kicked on . It happens ! You think someone has another gear and it turns out they don’t .
