You are so right. The negative comments are many. Every time it's mentioned a player looks good, out they come, too small, too light, not enough experience, forwards are now too big for the modern game, can't tackle, can't catch, etc. I just think the last few years have shattered a lot of peoples confidence.

What I don’t understand is the lack of conviction and courage from the board and coach to work as a team and to lay open their goals to members and fans? Is it fear of failure? Is it that they can’t agree what the plan is? Is it a fear of accountability?
I would admire them more, if they jointly told us that their goal is to win a GF in 2025 and listed some tasks which would get us closer to that goal, even if they fell short. At least we would know they all had the courage and were working as a team, it’s nothing more than they expect from the players? Not asking them to talk like Ali, just to make a big boast and take us with them for the ride?
