Madge impressed me immensely with his signings not so much with BJ and AD(who are just what we need) but with his emphasis on quality young players who are at least a year away and looking at getting a good hooker on a 1 year loan whem we need it most.
To me it shows a commitment to making our club strong and viable for the present and the immediate future.
We would have to rocks in our heads not to try and extend his contract by the end of June.Lets be honest who is better? Bellamy probably but he is all i would rate higher than him certainly not the zombie at souffs Hasler would be about equal to Madge and you dont want Hasler involved in recruitment of anything to do with the cap.
Inevitably we will lose games this year we should have won and some on here will be knifing him virtually from the onset(its a forum after all).Just my thoughts but imo he is the best we could have at the helm to guide our club for at least the next 5 years

All great arguments articulated by forum members. Given his recruitment on quality juniors I would extend him now as stability is something successful clubs have. A big YES from me. 3 more years.

I wouldnt be in such a rush, we are gun shy because of Cleary but he was a snake of the highest order. Seems like Madge is enjoying his time, i dont think he's going anywhere while he hasnt got the team 100% how he wants it. I think he's the type of bloke you could take his word,i dont think he's using us as a bus terminal like the snake did.
