Major clean out required

I truly think everyone in the WT club feel safe, that is everyone from the chief to the indians. It's all there for everyone to see, we have become rubbish. To me today's effort was the icing on the cake, a wake up call. Do something or the crowds will walk away. Shake the whole club up. Put everyone on notice, Humphrey's this means you. If you can't do it, well your not the man for the job either. Enough is enough. Listen to the fans, the lemon has been squeezed. And next year and the year after, when we can't sign a better coach or players, you'll be saying due to dwindling crowds, we don't have the finances, and off you go to the Roosters, for another big pay day, leaving the mess behind. Not good enough.

This is the first time I have ever said this as I will declare I am a big Sheens fan and rate him very highly, HOWEVER, and not just because of yesterdays performance, I think the Tigers need to start planning for life after him. I don't mean he needs to be sacked or necessarily shown the door prior to his contract expiring but I think it needs to be declared that possibly 2013 will be his final season with the club. I think he is a great coach and will do good things with a fresh team elsewhere but I think his work at the Tigers is done. We need new, fresh ideas and the players need this. They can only learn so much from one coach and now they need to be reinvigerated under someone else.

I'm beginning to question our professionalism as a club. To me we seem like a pub footy team. Same players turning up each week doing the same thing with an there's always next week/next year type attitude. The way we handled the Moltzen saga was the epitome of amateurism and we haven't seen much of an improvement in any regards since.

I'm not going for the major clean out. Sheens is a fair question though, especially if and as is likely, we miss the 8\. I think it's plain to see though we need some pace in our backline. As good a job as Utai has done, he is not pacey, Same with Tuqiri. We probably have to say "thanks, but no thanks" to these guys. We need to rebirth the backline. Ayshford has been so dissapointing this season but i think he still has a future in the centres. But he'll be under threat next season. He needs to improve. The only 2 players in the backline who are safe are Ryan and Lawrence. The rest have issues.

This time last year people were talking (me included) about Ashford being in the blues train in squad this year…man how things have changed. I also used to cringe when Ryan had the ball aswell now I want him to be more involved.

3 Major Changes is whats required…

1\. The Benji Marshall Factor - We have tried for 6 years to find a suitable partner for Benji Marshall, to suit his style and it keeps on failing. Time to move this magical mystro to a position where we can best utilise his greatest asset of Running and develop/recruit a new Halves Combo that can play structured football and direct the team around the park.

2\. Big is Beautiful - Recruit 'mongrel' type player non of us like. JWH; Packer; Maguire; Kasiano to smash the opposition through the middle of the park instead of this mobility factor we continually build. Who cares if they are grubs... They will be 'our' grubs and set a platform for a structured Halves Combination to do there jobs and unleash players like Marshall & Lawrence.

3\. Front Office - I've turned the corner this year from always defended Sheens to a point. This is over and the time has come where he must accept what he is/has been doing isnt working. It starts with our Defensive Coaches and the overall Culture throughout the Club. Time to perform or perish and this goes to the coaching team and the senior players.

I feel better now... Lets smash the Eels!!!

Why was Bell introduced into the game so late? I found myself relieved when he finally made it onto the field. He tackled everything that moved and he cleaned up the middle of the ruck. He must start!

Tigerbalm, I think you are hard on Ayshford. I thought he has been going OK. He made some good tackles, and still looks like he can break tackles with the ball. He is getting rubbish service from Benji - but all the outside backs are!

Nothing much will change in the next couple of years. It's my understanding Sheens signed a three year deal at the end of 2011,the club wanted a two year deal but I think he ended up with a three year deal.Anyway to flick him with two years still to run would cost the club close to a million I would imagine. I think it would be best million they could spend, but I doubt they have that sort of cash to give away.

We are not going to turn the joint around without making some pretty hard calls starting with the coach

I know it a lot of money to pay out, but I'm sure someone in need of a coach, surely pay part of our contract to get him on their books. You hear me RAIDERS.

These are my 10 players to get rid of:
1\. Reddy
2\. Humble
3\. Simona
4\. Tuqiri
5\. Heighington
6\. Ayshford
7\. Chisolm
8\. Spence
9\. Bell
10\. Groat

I am considering maybe getting rid of Tim Sheens, he has been around too long. I think it is time for a new coach. These players should give us enough money to buy a new coach.

I think Sheens should be the first to go.

He is not inspiring our players any more and his team selections and use of bench is a major concern

Mate it's fine to get rid of all those players, (not that i agree with all your selections there) but you still have to buy 10 players to replace them.

Understatement to the max,he is way out in front of contenders to go,won't happen though,he runs the place and everybody who should be calling him to task seems happy to sit back and let him go about his ridiculious team selections and bench rotations, wouldn't happen at any other club,he would be sacked and the media all over him.

It will be very interesting, Sheens has said a few times dont judge us now, judge us at the end of the season, well judgement day is just around the corner. Iam expecting lots of spin and lots of fluff coming out of Concord over the next few weeks, the old trick, get the punters looking and thinking about other things. Could even be the odd signing that will take some focus away from a horrendous season. Sheens and the clubs are masters at it, they have had lots of experience.

AS I have said before what other club would sit on their hands and do nothing, they are just one big under achieving boys club that answers to nobody

Adam Blair. First cut right there. I just see him missing too many tackles and he doesn't seem to be playing with any 'heart'.

On the other end of the scale Marika Koroibete really inserted himself in the match. A player for the future.

I can't agree on Simona, Ayshford and especially Bell. Bell has been a great buy, just a pity we don't see more of him.
