Make Cronk an offer tomorrow

Tommy Raudonikis in his current state would be an improvement on Brooks ..
And to think we let Te Marie Martin and Austin go …:brick:

TMM yeah. Austin is absolute garbage. Biggest hog of the football I have seen in all my years watching the game.

Cronk already has his own "staff" photo on fox sports, he's all but officially stepped into a commentator/presenter role there..

Austin, Absolute garbage? He did wonders for the Raiders last year, can still be a great player. You would prefer TMM, sure he is dynamic. But unlike Austin, TMM is a total turnstyle. He makes Brooks defence look good.

Give Matt Johns a call to work with Brooks in the off-season. Worked with cronk when he first started out and also with Munster this past off-season

Cronk wouldn't tarnish his reputation coming here …
Besides he'd be useless behind our pack ... Even with Packer and Matalino..

You're not real positive about next year are you?

Nah mate , not at all but that's just me …
Every year starts with so much promise but dies in the arse !
"Unite /committ /achive ".......that went well

"Rising up" ....even worse

I wonder what next years primary school Motto will be ?
I'm over it !

I'm over it! Now there's a catchy motto for next season

I hear ya, I know it's always the same crap that gets dished up, but next year is the biggest overhaul we've had in quite some time so I'm not giving up hope just yet - it's almost going to be a completely different team! We definitely need a halfback though. How many chances does Brooks get to shine? I've had a gutful of waiting for him to become a first grade standard half, I'd rather have Jeff Robson!

Maybe" Jeez , Not Again!!!!"

Cronk is semi retired he's already commentating for fox, no way he's going to play at a Sydney club when he's getting paid to talk about footy.

No Cronk all well and good ..but an experienced 7 has to be signed and Brooks shown the door ..that is if anyone wants to play finals footy!

Paying a million for Cronk would be a big mistake in my opinion.

I am happy to stick with Brooks - hopefully playing behind a decent pack next year.

Hopefully without Lovett!!!!

I'm getting to the point where I don't think a big pack will help his game. Not unless they can help him make decisions by shouting instructions to him.

Cronk might do a season of Rugby for the Waratahs. 1.5m is the amount circulating rumours.
Rugby is in serious decline and are desperate to gain his signature.

Stick with Brooks and get him some help, in Matty or Joey Johns.
Someone who knows how to lead a team around the field.

The ARU are nearly bankrupt.

We have signed Reynold's… forgetting anyone's personal opinion on the bloke, he is an established, professional footballer who will be able to lead the pack around. Brooks will benefit playing behind him and much to your disdain - he won't be shown the door any time soon mate.

It's pretty clear that the biggest rumours are that Brooks has 2 more years behind the "new and improved" Wests Tigers pack. Then he comes off contract the same time as the coaches son.

I don't believe that's a coincidence, and if I were Penrith, I'd be hoping Brooks comes good because otherwise we're thanking them for giving them TMM by taking Cleary Junior.

I have been watching Rugby League since 1977 and Cooper Cronk in my opinion is the most professional and complete half back I have seen play the game. The way he links the forwards and back is incredible and his kicking game is a joy to watch. Don't get me wrong as Andrew Johns and JT are better players but Cronk appears to play the role of half back so well.

Cronk will not play against Melbourne and he will retire after Melbourne win this year's Grand Final to take a role at Foxtel and join the Storm's coaching team to bring on the next generation of halves.

It would be my dream to have Cronk in WT colours but the reality he will not be coming.

I hope Tyson Gamble can put some pressure on Brooks for 2018.

Littlejohn has been a major disappointment.

Correct. This is a desperation bid. They want pull some fans from League because they haven't got any fans. Lol.

We're building from scratch next year essentially so it would be a mistake to give Cronk a big 1-year contract to try and get immediate results. Those cap funds could be better spent plugging some other weaknesses with players that plan to be here long term. Let Cleary build his own team we don't need no stars to be competitive we need players with talent and pride in the jersey.

Son of Ivan is the answer, okay we may have to wait, but that's where any half money should be directed. If he was playing no7 for us this year we would be close to the 8 ..he is that good

Nathan's still a developing player…. Still very up and down. He us pretty good tho and I wouldn't hesitate to swap him
