Maloney off to the Sharks next season , most clubs sign someone to bolster there stocks but the Tigers must be totally screwed this is concerning moving forward.

Where is this confirmed,

He is a solid player, but I would be questioning the R and R policy.

Why did the Rorters let him go….?

They have already resigned a few and also need to resign Ferguson to a contract that requires paying him actual money and they have run out of of brown paper bags.

Remember when they signed Maloney they used a loophole in the cap and spread his 3 year contract over 4 years so he would cost them considerably more to resign this time around.

He's been average, sharks will pay overs and roosters will re-sign ferguson, mitchell and hastings for what they would pay jimmy…

SHARKS MUST HAVE THERE OWN BROWN BAGS, as they keep signing gun 5/8s carney then barba, now jimmy, some bubdy hide moses in the cupboard.

Does this club have any local juniors to speak of? They're probably all out surfing, since there is more money in it if you're good enough

Seriously though, in the last few years, Cronulla seem to have endless coin to purchase talent from other clubs, but where has really it got them? A couple of fringe finals appearances over a decade, but they remain a bog average side without a Premiership, despite their best efforts to buy one.

Perhaps if they invested some time and effort into their local juniors and blended them with astute buys from other clubs, they might be able to develop a team who will actually give a toss and want to give their very best for their club. God even the best young talent in their line up at present (Jack Bird) was pinched from St George!
