Not a bad bench.

Williams is extremely over-rated. Loved it how Benji and Farah targeted him last year with the kicking and put him off his game so much.

over-rated is a very generous assessment of williams.
we should hopefully score plenty down that side of the field.

Strong forward pack. Tigers will need to really aim up here, particularly on Whatmough and Stewart who will lurk around and wide of the ruck all night. Stewart at fullback needs to be smashed early and put off his game. He has a freaky strike rate of scoring tries against the Tigers. Centres are big, but not the quickest or most agile running around.

If the Tigers can win the ruck and hold the ball, they can beat this Manly side.

T.Williams scored a pretty neat try the last time we met, when he steamrolled half our squad.

Yep… everyone seems to be forgetting this lol But that said... the best I've seen him play was against us that night... other than that... he's very average.

Yes but its OK because he ran through Halatau, Collis & Morris. (& from memory Bronson & teo who were making a special come back appearance for us that game)

Now that is a very powerful side. They will be very had to beat.

But But…Hasler has selected a centre at 5/8th...A winger in the centres...An untested halfback and a grub at fullback....

Agrre BB, what a way to start the season….massive game, and I can't understand how we are favourites in this one....Hasler will have them aim up not to be 18 down this time around at half time

Yeah didn't Lyon win the Man Of Steel @ 5/8? Didn't Williams play alot of centre at junior level? Foran was a gun from what little I saw last year and that "grub" cuts us to shreds every time we line up against him.

Its a strong side IMO.

Hope the centres are prepared for a wide running Watmough hitting the edges. I remember last season when the players seemed to be allergic to tackling him. The next day the papers were going on about how "Super-human" he was.

We made Sam Harris look "super-human" once before too.

they will miss orfords organization, heavy pack tho. we will have a work cut out… hopefully lote goes straight for williams and matai knock em off there game, so they turn it up....

a very good side to say the least with that BIG forward pack. Hope we can contain them.

well i hope so, a lot have tipped us to finish in the top 4 . 😱pen_mouth:

If we don't contain those forwards, that backline will do a number on us i reckon.

As it stands even if they don't i think it will be hard going to get a win.
