The Titans had a fair lead but manly came back at them, was this because the Titans let them back into the game and hence had a few lapses? or was it further evidence that manly will come at you all game? The Titans showed that getting the jump on manly and keeping their nose in front on the scoreboard worked rather than trying to catch up to manly or keep up with them.

and thats what seperates Gold Coast from Manly but yet Gold Coast won.

our game last season v Manly probably had 55-60 minutes us as the better side ,but they blew us out of the water in the 10 minutes before and after half time Watch the tapes Mick

You would have to think we are in a better position to win than in the past,we actually have a no7 and Benji is playing 6 and the forwards are being coached to run hard. On top of that we are not at Brookie,and we have a day more recovery time.

Of course Manly will be most punters tip, but I think we could be completive and riven a chance of getting the bacon

WTs look to have a better shape this year Happy but there is no way I am going to stick my chin out and say we are at the point yet where what you have pointed out can't happen again 😛ray: not especially against manly.

Manly will start favorites, and deservedly so. They look tough this year, just as they did last year. The big test for the Tigers will be to match Manly in the forwards, as I think we cancel each other out in the backline to an extent. The Tigers have the x-factor but Manly generally have the consistency and love a good old fashioned arm wrestle. If we win, I don't think it will be a case of jagging it, we'll have to grind with them and take our chances when they come.

We need to learn consistancy.
We've never had it in our short life.
We need to start all over again.

Manly always finish strong and did tonite but ran out of time..
