Marika oh Marika

Sorry, why does it matter how much Rowdy's worth on the open market? We're not selling him; i mean it'd be good for lawrence to get more money but in terms of the tigers i dont get how it'll affect us.

Ok We are approximately paying Rowdy 380k a season over 5 seasons If we decide to let him go to another club for 200 k we will have to pay out the other 540 k (180 x 3) to Rowdy

Add that to 900 k we owe Sheens and the mess just gets bigger

The longer he keeps playing busted the more it will cost us in the long run

Well if Koroibete is good to go for round 7 then that is a big boost as our backline is deadset pedestrian at the moment. I had such high hopes for Lawrence this year too, he looked to have regained his speed in pre-season video at training but it hasn't translated out on the field.

I'm with Mac on this one, I still have faith he will come good for us. He is a young bloke and sometimes it takes 2+ years to regain full strength in the injured area. Hip flexor is a hard one to strengthen after an injury, I doubt he will ever regain top speed again but defence is a learning curve he will take.

I believe his best years are ahead of him, and if society can't have positivity for the kid, than how is he ever supposed to believe in himself?

Ah I understand happy. I suppose it didn't occur to me because I couldn't imagine letting him go. He'll come good. He is too naturally talented and hard working to fail. Hard workers figure it out.

Which is very silly. Lawrence does not deserve to be dropped yet. Hell I'd give him a whole season. The guy deserves to be given a chance to adapt his game in first grade.

mate whhich games are u watching? He's been horrible.

Yea yeah he had an injury that could have sidelined him forever, but gee, we aren't a charity footy team we are trying to win right?

Play him nsw cup and force him to get involved, it might give him some confidence and Bring back some form.

You blokes are dead set kidding Simona ahead of Lawrence, I'm glad you clowns ain't coaching. If Simona was that good I'm sure another club would of picked him up. Can't believe how many people rate these reserve graders so highly, Simona is back up at best.

No one wants to see him go Mac , never met Chris , but everything you here says he is the nicest kid

At some stage the club must say enoughs enough if it doesn't work out

When would you draw the line Mac ??

I would try never to release him. I believe his hard work will pay dividends. If he suffers another extreme injury that is about the extent.

The only suggestion I have is possible to send him to a sprint coach to get the speed back and drop a couple of kilos

The benefits he would get with his speed back far outweigh the benefits of the extra weight imo

this
i always worry about the off season and players that bulk up too much and lose flexibility.

awesome to hear about koro though.

He hasn't even been that bad despite getting death rided on here. Defensively there are some issues and he could be moved to the wing but we need him playing well. He can be a weapon - we don't have enough of these type of players.

Everybody is blaming Lawrence for the bad defence of Koro and Tedesco when maybe it is just that they are inexperienced wingers.
To me it looks like he is coming out of the line because he doesn't trust their defence - which makes him look stupid if he misses .
Let's be honest - they may both be the current darlings of the forum but both young wingers have been guilty of some bad one on one misses which have nothing to do with Lawrence.
Not saying Lawrence is anywhere near his best but I don't think he is ready for the scrapheap like some others.
