Her main role is leadership, making sure everything runs effectively in all aspects of the governance role.
The chair manages meetings, ensures the board is balanced and board discussion is open and includes all directors. It's also her responsibility to make sure all relevant issues are included in the agenda and that all directors receive timely information for meetings. Makes sure everything runs smoothly at board level. Makes sure everything is ship shape and above board.

And he will nearly always back the player over the administration. He was all over Taylor at the time as well which is ironic given the Gary Freeman/Brian Smith issue when he was coach. I suppose it's a way he can feel good about himself….
