In fairness the sh#t the WT landed in and what it's trying to crawl out of occured long before this new board came along,my concern with them is the denial shown in regards to JT's incompetence,he was appointed on their watch,is it a case of trying to save face by retaining him not wanting to admit we made a mistake here.

Sounds like the narcissism one needs at her level is rearing its head. While what she's saying may be a little exaggerated, I've no doubt she's encountered a lot of garbage, unitelligence and self-entitlement since she started the job. She's just asking for a little bit of credit.

Anyone actually know what she does though?

Her main role is leadership, making sure everything runs effectively in all aspects of the governance role.
The chair manages meetings, ensures the board is balanced and board discussion is open and includes all directors. It's also her responsibility to make sure all relevant issues are included in the agenda and that all directors receive timely information for meetings. Makes sure everything runs smoothly at board level. Makes sure everything is ship shape and above board.

You think that management not undermining the coach is a bad thing? Really?

Our players need to know that they can't get rid of a coach so readily any more. The halves are attempting (maybe from a another little WT birdy in their ear) via their contract negotiations.

That has to stop and the board knows it. The only way to do that is support the coach no matter what. If they caved now, it could easily look like the players have succeeded again.
