Mark Riddell poised for NRL return with Wests Tigers

He'll probably go alright at the chooks but I'm not too disappointed he didn't sign with the Tigers. I'd rather the Tigers look towards the good junior talent coming through.

not at all disappointed…IMO our money is better spent elsewhere...I'm sure we have a capable replacement for Robbie if anything happens...Liam palyed a blinder in the number 9 last year!...plus there are capable replacements from BRET and the Maggies....so good luck piggy...i'm glad we kept our money in our pockets
 
we didnt really need him, although i wouldve loved to have put my hand up at least once as he lined up a kick for us. never the less, good luck piggy

Im sure the pig and his manager are aware a leading hooker in farah is here alreay and they can add 2 with 2 quite simply themselves

I'm glad Sheens was honest with him. Why feed him with BS only to have him want to quit the club because he was made promises we didn't deliver on.

No need to feed him anything, just zip it - let piggy & co work it out themselves , the head coach shouldnt be pushing him out

Then Piggy starts bagging Sheens for not saying anything. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Sometimes I really do feel sorry for Tim.

Farah has been performing well for years without an obvious successor putting pressure on him. What makes you think he needs it now?

Armchair sports psychologists know it all though, don't they?

Maybe this and maybe that all hypotheticals mate. I don't know about you Ink but I don't like being messed around and I dont like messing anyone else around. I'm glad Sheens showed class and professionalism in this instance, makes our club look that much better.
 
I doubt a comment from Sheens was what really made up his mind. And, I doubt he sees running on for 10-15 minutes playing second string to Friend as his main ambition this season. I'm sure he thinks that under his old friend Smith, he has a chance of wearing the number 9 and being in the starting line up at the Chooks. He realised that was never gonna happen at the Tigers.
 
Smart move and reflects some common sense from Riddell. All he needs to do is take Friend out for a night on the town and let nature take its course. Riddell will be starting hooker for the Roosters in no time.
 
I think Innks point is theres times when u should just say nothing and its usually these times that Sheens opens his mouth. He can be odd sometimes.

However, it seems a logical choice for Riddell and im sure he knew the drill before Sheens pointed it out and it didnt make a difference in the end.

That IS my point, and it never hurts anyone to be kept on their toes to stay at the top of their game….but lets twist this into wether robbie cares if Riddells here or not :deadhorse:
