No dwarf jokes from me but have you ever heard Brooks actually speak? He couldn't string two words together let alone barking instructions and plays with a mouth guard in place! The best playmakers are hoarse by the end of a game Lockyer Cronk Johns all were speechless by games end cos they YELLED at their players - they owned the team!

Benji does what he wants to do... not sure if he is the right fit for Brooks... I reckon time to give the youngsters a go in place of Benji/Reynolds... Madge does give clear instructions and it must be followed and I am sure a youngster would follow that to the letter.

Yeah, imagine if Marshall was at the storm, who seem to follow are fairly strict game plan. Pretty Sure Brooks would be on notice this week and I wouldn't be surprised if he has a blinder is this week.

Clubs responsibilty - same as dogs. They should have made sure Lamb could not come in contact with players. WT should have made sure players couldn't come in contact with media.

Look, if it was any other situation I’d agree. But with the strict guidelines in place, the NRL is making it the club’s responsibility.

Agreed, they're adults (although by some actions you could debate that lol) and should know better but at the end of the day PVL/NRL made a "deal" with the Govt to come back early, inherent in that was an undertaking by the NRL and the Clubs that they adhere to the "new rules", whether people/players/club agree with them or not. NRL has to abide by what they committed to the Govt or we could be closed down again or restricted in some way. Clubs bought into that and it is therefore the clubs responsibilities to adhere and to make sure their staff adhere to whatever the "new rules" are. End of story. If we get fined so be it - better than the club being banned or restricted or the NRL in broader terms.

I think Marshall and Brooks need to put some mongrel in their game
They both need to mix things up a little on the field with their kicks and passing game because what they are doing now isn't getting the job done
Mix it up and be a little bit unpredictable


I agree, Brooks should be given free reign to play it as he sees it. I doubt he will do that with a 6 who has achieved much more over twice as many years? What would happen if Walters played 6? After a couple of games, Brooks will realise he is the go to guy. imo

I said this 2 years ago, and have been saying it ever since, Brooks won’t reach his full potential or even become a consistent player whilst Benji is playing. Maybe Madge is testing this out, I just hope it is not a one off, for both Brooks and Grub’s sake

I think under Madge the players need to earn their starting spot. Some coaches are very good at the timing of this reward. Madge obviously thinks Reynolds is ready and Walters is close to ready.? imo

Reynolds is on huge money and cannot displace Walters for the bench hooker/utility role. That is a pretty sobering thought heading into a game against a top team

That is because Grub is a 6 not a hooker

Walters is a 5/8 who adapted. That is a poor reflection on Reynolds.

Don’t worry about all the players saying he’s a Great leader in the field and guides the team around geo that doesn’t matter ? he’s not good at public speaking so that means he’s not a leader on the field

Benji is rocks and diamonds. Always has been. You don't win anything with that style. His head isn't switched on, look at his moronic kiss yesterday. He's not professional enough to be a leader for us, nor to help is win more games than we lose.

I think madden or talau would be better options to be honest but they need CC to show what they've got to push u for a first grade gig.
