They do enough touch footy at training as it is. There's enough skill and attacking prowess among the team as it is. I want to see a new and much improved defensive attitude in 2013.

Anyone worried about him getting injured just needs to relax a little I think. A Souths player missed a season after falling over his daughter at a BBQ and he is just one of the many players who have missed games due to hurting themselves outside the field of play.

Very true Allan. Or maybe they need to ban BBQs as well!! I don't see playing touch being any more dangerous than normal team training and certainly less dangerous than ordering cheeseburgers at McDonalds…

This is an outrage…...and sack Potter.
I bet he had lunch while he was up there......bet there was butter on his bread.
@Anthism said:Touch footy is close enough to League. How is golf going to help anything?? Maybe mentally but nothing useful to miss training for tbh.
Good chance for Benji to get his running game going anyway and some confidence back.

@Goose said:if he gets hurt, and misses footy that is unlucky. He is far more liukely to get hurt at training than he is playing touch footy.
@LCA said:A guy I work with coached an opposing side (to Benji's) at the the Touch Footy and he told me today that Benj has picked up a rib injury after a heavy collision with another guy!! Wasn't able to fulfil his commitments with his team. Anyone heard anything?
