Spot on !
If we do re sign him, hope we don't pay overs for him.

Did he reinjure the toe/foot midway thru 2nd half?
They went away from him deliberately it seens the last 15 or so

Talking about theatrics!! Sore Toe, ok so what. As Potter said in the presser, hes out there, he is fit to play and it is not good enough.

Further injury possibly.
Even with stardom, Benji has never been able to overcome a clearly anxious disposition.
When his confidence is down, it seems his mind scrambles.
No one fails to kick out on the full more than him.
For whatever reason he doesn't have the steely nerve of Farrah. He needs confidence more than most on the field. It's up to him and the coach though to recognise these differences and work with them better than at present.

I'm sick of the excuses. He was pathetic again. Farah deliberately avoided passing to him in the last 10 minutes. I don't blame him.

his attitude, his selfishness, his smugness.. all bleh

im worried about his speed, i dont think it will EVER come back.

I have been one of the lucky people who have seen most of his games since he burst onto the scene as a kid, he was a brilliant flamboyant player but now its sad to see him struggling, but its a ruthless tough business. You pay players to do a job and when they no longer can do that job you look for someone else.Sorry Benji, its time to look at Rugby in Japan or in France, because you are way off the pace in the NRL and I really cant see you ever getting back on the pace.

Benji is struggling, but I wouldn't write him off.

He looks to be playing injured and without any attacking structures. He looks lost and appears to have lost confidence. He was always going to be the player most affected by Sheen's departure.

It bothers me to hear so many of you accusing him of not caring.

He is our great hope for improvement, don't put him down. He'll be remembered as one of the great wests tigers.

Agreed. I bet he is pretty disappointed in himself at the moment. I also think Farah not passing it to him was poor.

Still there are no excuses for his lack of involvement. He just has to start taking the game over and win games for us. Its not his position (7 or 6), its not the forwards, its not his halves partner, its not the media - it does come down 100% to him.

I hate to say it but I wouldn't be offering him a contract at the moment. He has been too inconsistent for too long. I'd be honest with him and tell him that he isn't playing anywhere near like one of the top players in the game and to earn anywhere near what he is on he has to play at that level. I'd tell him lets stop negotiating contracts and focus on footy and see if you can get it back together.

What made Benji was his speed and instinctive play.. He has lost both…

Big trouble with benji. We are going to be stuck with him for another five years. He will play one miracle game out of 10 and that is good enough.
I will not rate potter until he takes risks. I want to see brooks/sirronen next week. If we want plan for the future then lets start now.

I think he had less than 5 touches in the 2nd half and they were all crap.please do not WASTE our salray cap on him. Its time to go benji
I feel so sorry for robbie, woodys, and the likes of sue who busted there ar*** out there last night to have to play with someone who really does not want to be there, benji just quit if thats what u are going to produce week in week out.
thats my rant i feel a little better now.

If he played like he cared maybe the fans would think differently. Everyone I heard defending him at the game last night was talking about what he was in the past. None of them could defend his recent history.

My personal take is he played this week and last because he wanted to play against his old team mates at the Sharks. Now he will mysteriously be out for another month stating he has the turf toe back again

If you watch the try when Koroibete tries to pass to Marshall when he gets dragged away his face looks like he is showing pain ,whether that is the pain of a try or pain of injury not sure
