Did he reinjure the toe/foot midway thru 2nd half?
They went away from him deliberately it seens the last 15 or so

If you watch the try when Koroibete tries to pass to Marshall when he gets dragged away his face looks like he is showing pain ,whether that is the pain of a try or pain of injury not sure

Hmm yeh I remember that one clearly now he did look in pain

It's ok. He came back early to justify playing against his old mates. He said he wanted to play in that game since the start of the year.

This BS he wanted to come back for his struggling team is exactly, complete and utter BS. He will now do a Lote and comfortably sit back having a great old time while the team gets belted from pillar to post

Please Potter take control and get your house in order. I can tolerate losing matches all year provided that we put our most competent ( and fit) players available for that week on the field. Selecting Benji the last two weeks when you of all people should have known he was nowhere fit to play makes you looks completely incompetent. You did the same with Lawrence selecting him week in and week out when he clearly was not able to run properly. Against Manly you rested Farah at a critical time in the match for no real reason. You are the new coach for 2013 but your honeymoon is now well and truly over so stop blaming our injury toll and make the courageous judgements you are paid to do.

Before you can put the knife into Potter, it would be a good idea if some of you people looked up the rules in regard to the salary cap and the ramifications if you go outside those rules.

I reckon that pain was associated with the realisation that Koro was actually trying to offload the ball in that situation! I'm pretty sure I saw Benji saying "Nooooooooo!"

Definitely got injured there. And he played injured last week - which should never have happened either as he was a liability then too.

Potter as real dilemma on his hands with Benji. Will he drop him or rest his 'injury' like happens to other marquee players? If he is injured, I would like to see him recover, then play in State Cup.

Edit: -return through State Cup.

Whats he going to say in the media this week :blah :blah :blah :blah :blah :brick:

Hopefully thanks for the memories I am finishing up,that $800k a year could be spent way better elsewhere.

If you get rid of Marshall don't stop there. Should be followed by the CEO, entire board replaced by idependants then Warren MacDonald, all coaching staff and medical especially Leeds and Royce. Deadwood to go would be moltzen, ayshford, Anasta, Blair, bmm, lote, and utai. If this club wants to survive they need a total reboot. I do not want to endure sitting in a tigers members area surrounded by sharks supporters signing up up cronulla! Ever again.

Benji wasnt good last night, had an indifferent 2012 and has been non existant this year….this is all true. But fair dinkum, do we need 15 threads for people to vent about 1 player? He was part of the problem last night no doubt...but wasnt the only reason we lost.

Try #1 = Koro has a brain snap and throws a retched pass in goal for the easiest of tries for Cronulla.
Try #2 = Cronulla catches the young backs unawares on the last and executes a lovely backline passing movement
Try #3 = Tedesco spills a bomb and again Cronulla swoop on the ball for a very easy try.
Try #4 = Reddy goes up for a bomb, has an air swing and Cronulla score again
Try #5 = Lucky bounce of a grubber sucks in the defence and Lewis regains and throws a cutout to the winger.

Point being, even though it was obvious the backs lost us that game, Benji wasnt the main culprit. Sure he did nothing with the ball but it was our lack of skill with the high ball that allowed Cronulla to flog us. We dropped 3 bombs for tries and another 3 that only good luck saved us from further scoring.

Koro was way worse than Marshal, Teddy played hard but still has a few mistakes in him, Reddy who is usually Mr Reliable under the high ball also stuffed up. Sirro did nothing although defended well, Simona tried but made a few telling errors also.

The fact is that last night Cronulla targetted our young backs - as they should - and it paid dividends. I am not going to hack on them yet as some shouldnt be in the top grade but are due to necessity. They are trying and are still learning. However I think it reasonably unfair that Benji is 100% the scapegoat when he is surrounded by players whose poor plays directly led to 4 of Cronullas 5 tries.

The point is Benji and Korobeite were injured. There is likelihood they they were alrady injured before the match began. Whatever, they were not replaced. It is better to play with 13 fit players than 11 fit players + 2 players hobbling around the field.

I think people are more talking about the fact in the last two weeks we've only scored twice and that Benji had a hand in neither of them

On form I'd be dropping Benji back to State Cup to mentor Brooks. Miller and Sirro is the halves pairing I'd like to see at present.

I agree Miller should be back, but dont know where to play Sirro. He is a big lump of a kid who has a go and is not scared of his bigger named rivals. He can also defend strongly. But there is something about him…he's good, but he's not....but he sort of is....I really dont know where he fits into this team.

Don't forget Sirro missed the back end of last year and the start of this year with a busted shoulder, once he gets match fit he will hopefully show more of his ability.

It's not even so much about the points scored. It's the fact that every time the ball goes to Benji, he does little to nothing with it and in certain circumstances he blows any opportunity for us.
He can't kick like he used to, he is struggling to put together a simple play. All he can do is pass it off to the next player in line.
I'd like to hope it's just a rough patch but I'm secretly wishing that he moves on. He's not going to be here forever and with the depth of halves we have coming through I don't want to watch them be given the flick to allow Benji.

X2
Friday night proved surely that only some dark secret like loving "a current affair" should stop Miller from another shot…
Could Sirro play lock? Surely he's a better option than Spence...
