Marshall - Long Term

I just DOn't see any fire in his eyes. I reckon he is just in a comfort zone, cruise control. Happy enough, with more important things in his life now. Might sound harsh but the body language he gives off is that of being pretty non plussed. He was always a dud captain for us and being dumped as NZ test skipper is pretty concerning.

I'm not saying he has a shocking attitude or anything like that, i just think he is in the comfort zone. You look at players like Farah, Cronk, THurston, they have that fire in their eyes. They have that real drive to win and be the best. With Benji I just don't see it and it's reflected in the team being "flat" so often.

I don't envy POtter at all, he has a hell of a job to even make this team beat one decent outfit all year.

Apparently he was 15/15 tonight in terms of tackles, one of which was a try saver (lol @ Boyd not getting a try and getting MOM over Uate). I would say his game was reasonable if you take the kicking out of it tonight. Nothing brilliant but as solid as Benji gets.

His kicking wasn't bad either. I think the problem is that people want to see him run the ball more. I'd be happy with games like he just played which was solid with very few if any mistakes plus running it a bit more.

All you guys forget the damage Sheens has done played every player out of position now its starting to show , all the better teams win on the back of gritty tough defence this is one thing we have never had hence its why we cannot compete with the top sides.

Potter is trying to achieve this but it will not happen over night as Woods said training under sheens was all attack with very little time spent on defence and yes there has to be some changes and I am sure potter knows this although pulling Farah off was stupid , it was good to see who is calling the shots and its the coach not Farah or Benji.

Hardly Marshalls fault we got smashed.

The forwards??

We were only camped down on Manly's line for the first half an hr due to them not being able to hold on to the ball, so he had the perfect platform make them pay, but he didn't. But it was the forwards :unamused:

Moltzen to NSW cup and Teddy to Fullback

considering moltz outplayed teddy in that game that decision is complete rubbish. Although, they were extenuating circumstances; teddy was out of position and a last minute call up which meant he probably wasn't as well integrated into plays and the team as moltz. Also, manly targetted him as a 20 year old.

i'd say, moltz to wing or centre (his defence has definitely improved) and teddy to fullback.

It not Benji fault that we LOST yesterday games. We lost because of the COACH!!! stupid move on Robbie farah.. if sheen was still coach he wouldn't NEVER EVER do that.. but oh well you have to move on but diffinitly is NOT benji fault.

I can't agree with your opinion that the coach lost us the game. We had started to lose the ruck before Robbie was taken off. Certainly it didn't help not having him there, and probably the scoreline would have been closer, but to me it looked like the writing was already on the wall. Lose the ruck, lose the game.
