Just read an article in regards to Potter on the Channel 7 site in regards to Potter and at the bottom it is talking about Benji making the announcement on Saturday in regards to Auckland

Tauber stated that the Tigers still hadn't agreed or signed the release yet

What is going on with this club , has the asylum escaped and broken into Camp Concord
 
If there is no release, technically if Marshall signs an agreement with another club, he will be in breach of contract…

Benji will probably do a backflip and say he wants to stay. As p#*s-weak as he is playing ATM the club will be forced to sack him and he will get paid out the remainder of his 2-year contract at $750k per season…it is more than he will get anywhere else.
Maybe there is method to his madness and the way he has been performing.

Nothing would surprise me with this joint anymore.
 
I don't think id be surprised if he changed his mind. Would put a nice big cherry on our cake for 2013
 
my prediction
they will boot potter, sheens will get called up, marshall decides he will stay on for the rest of his contract, moltzen will stay at the tigers and my jersey will be set pn fire and i will not be following the tigers
hoping it doesnt come to that, but the way the tigers conduct business it wouldnt surprise me
 
Sheens would only return after sucking another 60% salary increase and three year extension from the mugs on the board
 
I wouldn't read too much into it. It is in everyone's interest for Benji and WT to part ways. Potter will be coach in 2014 and Sheens won't.

I will still follow the Tigers, but yeah everything else seems good to go.
 
I'm sure Benji and Tauber hae a handshake agreement on his release with Mayer. That seems to be enough for them.

I hadn't really thought about them getting Sheens back. As much as a backflip as it would be, its probably the cheapest option if they want to out Potter.

probably Potter will get the sack

Benji cant get a run anywhere else, so he will come out and declare that he never wanted to leave the Tigers and blame Potter, then resign for the tigers for 8 years and write a book about his traumatic ordeal…
 
Yes he does. Thats why the Bulldogs threatened to sue Sonny Bill until the NRL stepped in to obtain a negotiated settlement.

I guess it's just so he doesn't do a shifty like Scotty Prince, saying he's going to sign for an overseas mob, then link up with another team down the road. Just general caution.
