get him out of the backline and take the kicking responsibilities off him . tonights game was there to be won even allowing for our poor first half. Tedesco is not quite ready imho so a year back at state cup will not hurt him . he tries hard but he just seems to get hurt on too many occasions , sirro to the back row , he is a waste at halfback , brooks into the 7 .
marshall makes errors a junior player would make .my mate called the he wont find touch here before he kicked it .dejavu
that's another game that got away because we lack the right play makers .
 
Until we get an exemption to the second tier cap, Brooks won't be playing top grade. I would be loath for him to play before sauce is back to give us a bit more momentum.
 
I wouldn't be dropping Tedesco for Benji. Hell, Benji barely runs the ball as it is, it would be Moltzen all over again trying to offload to his winger to do the hard yards.
 
u can only polish a turd so much. Marshall peaked in 2005\. Doesnt matter where he plays he will still make the stupid plays cause to be honest i dont reckon there is a whole lot going on upstairs with him. Simply one of the dumbest players ive seen play the game in 40 years. Dump him now before he continues to stink up the place.

If Carney played for us tonight we would've won by 30\. Carney wasn't exceptional, just sensible and controlled. Continually not finding touch is lazy and shows a serious lack of concentration. No elite player makes these schoolboy errors. We need to cut this bloke free, we can't waste another 2 seasons.
 
Maybe for the All Blacks or Blues or watever other Union team he wants to play for. Tigers have Tedesco and along list in between him and Marshall for fullback.
 
Give it to him boys! Gee this is a tame thread compared to some of the others?

Come on you can all do better than some of the weak lily livered comments like send him back to NSW Cup as their Fullback? Why not post let's just put him on the bench for NSW Cup or better still just make him turn up for training to honour his contract but refuse to let him on the field just like they did with Roy Hobbs.

Why don't you all go out to the next home game and sit together and in chorus just boo him as he runs on and off the field! I am sure if you can do the above he will surely go and play Rugby Union.

You obviously have not been watching the games over the past couple of years, or your expectations are very low. Wise up. Marshall was one of the best players that I have ever seen. I saw him play his first game as guest player for the Wests Jersey Flegg side. He scored five tries that day and set up about three more. Unbelievable!

However, even someone as biased as youself should be able to see that his best days are long gone and I am afraid, so should he.

marshall?? I don't know where to put him? What position can he play? He will be lucky to be picked for NZ after last night's game.He could missed it all together.
 
Well, at least he is capable of creating some magic…......the past few weeks showed glimpses of this, and even last night I thought he showed with his defence he was really giving it a go.
During the tigers lean years, maybe it was the same with the magpies, players with any real talent in the side were rare.

It seems all too often when the tigers lose players with promise they seem to grow a leg if they leave the club, be sad if the same happened with Benji
 
Marshall was a king when the game had a true halfback and 5/8 but now teams are playing both on each side of the play the ball and Marshall has never played as good since.

Defence rush him and attackers target him.

He has been poor for a while now and with Ellis gone, who I thought was his go to man when he was playing bad and now he was noone.

Still feel bringing brooks into the squad and having siro fill the shoes of Ellis would show some form come back.

7\. Brooks
6\. Marshall
12\. Siro

Salary cap has given us no chance and I'm sure potter would've done this.

Moses will be in the team but id wait till he is 20/21, my opinion.
