I watched him play NSW cup vs the Jets on the weekend.

He stood out for two reasons:

1\. He's sharp, lots of energy and will take on the line like a good half should (even though he is a hooker) and his kicking game was half decent (better than alot of benji's in recent times).

2\. He makes some mind boggling decisions. They were ahead by however many points and he made a 50m break down field, all he needed to do was take the tackle and threw a stupid pass to no one and turned the ball over.

Basically what I am saying is that with a bit of control, he's the type of player we need in first grade at the moment. Braith is good at organsing and managing as a #7 - but I wouldn't mind seeing Iosefa given a run, maybe partnering Braith. Move Marshall to Bench/Centre, 0r whatever.

Anyone else see the game? Thoughts on him in FG (even though he has mind snaps)?

Im actually surprised he has only been used once and it wasnt the ideal circumstance either " taking Farah off"

About his decision making….., well he does frustrate me a lot .. I cant believe the stupid penalties he gives away..

I'm not sure if he can handle any other position though other than a Hooker

Honestly. I don't know that Potter would be much of a fan. Yes, he does have some good parts to his game, but his issue has always been ill discipline, laziness and I suspect a reason he didn't last the test of time at Penrith. He did okay as Farah's backup last season and he may well be his back up again this season but can we do better? Yes,. Do we have better? Perhaps not.

on the weekend he seemed to chime in as a playmaker a heap more than brooks or who ever the #6 was - looked better than most of or 2013 attack in first grade really.

but yeah, theres no point him replacing farah, hence the idea to play in the #6 or #7.

I'm not sure he will be effective in the halves. Hooker and halve instincts are different.
But on a serious note i rather play Iosefa than Eddy PITTYBourne

Luani > Iosefa
Far more stable and can play in the forwards too. Still developing though.
Iosefa does alright in NSW Cup but definitely is not NRL standard. Does as many stupid things as Blair in defense.

Its strange…..most players are pretty good and have the odd brain snap, moment of stupidity

He's the opposite.

Generally rubbish consistently, but occasionally he looks like a Sterlo or Johns...very occasionally

He's rubbish.
No doubt has his moments but over all… Weak.

Doesn't suprise me he kills it in NSWCUP though,
He's a step above that but not quite NRL standard.

Likes the flash play and attention, mostly rocks with very few diamonds, penalty machine and makes poor decision after poor decision most of which are purely selfish some of which come off by luck more then good planning.

He sounds like a perfect fit for Benji now Moltz is injured

Doesn't sound like much of safety first Potter type of player.

Like others have said he can be good but when he is bad he is very bad.

Hahahaaaa!!!

Its so true.

x2.

Luani > Iosefa

Whilst he does show some signs of great play, anything good Iosefa does is counteracted 10-fold by sheer and utter stupidity. The guy has a penalty tally which would rival Chis Sandow's number of missed tackles.

I would like to see Iosefa given another try.He at least shows some enthusiasm and while his decision making is not always the best he is not afraid to tackle and cant be any worse than a lot of the forwards we have seen in recent weeks..

Iosefa is a useless bum who can't tackle.

Actually his defence is generally Ok , but when he misses a tackle it is always a bad miss or a clean miss might be a better use of words

comfortably the most frustrating player ive witnessed.

He is so close to be a great player, but at the same time so far away.

He'd have as much talent as anyone, yet between all these great plays is constant acts of stupidity..

Ive always thought at some stage it would click, and he'd work it out and be a very good player, yet to happen.
