Masoes' tackle on Gibbs

While the guy is moving forwards it should be legal. It's when the guy is being held stationary and the 3rd guy can line him up and chop his knees out from under him that it becomes dangerous. Not a lot in it in my opinion.

I knew straight away Gibbs was staying down for a penalty. He always does. Absolutely nothing wrong with the tackle.

If he gets cited after Ennis got away with the same thing the MRC is a farce

Joke of a penalty IMO. There are 30 of those a game - it is just so inconsistent.

I understand the logic of player safety - but Gibbs was still making metres when Mose went in for the tackle!

If we accept the proposition that Gibbs was still moving and he was therefore fair game for having his legs taken out, why are the legs of a player taking a kick on the last tackle sacrosanct? Is it because Gus/Matty/Sterlo/Rabbsy think there is a distinction? This is but one reason that the laws of Rugby League are a repetitious comedy
