@nadzy77 said:I really like Steve matai! He's a looker, he's talented and ..well your all gonna hate this as much as I want manly to lose I want matai to play next wk. At least that way when they get beaten they'll have no valid excuses.

@Yossarian said:I find that amazing. The guy has a long track record and clearly came in knee first. Well I hope this is the last we hear from Manly about how everyone is against them. I know it won't but they should be without B Stewart and Matai for the GF. What a joke…
@cnx_tigers said:Honestly, the NRL is corrupt. Fulton and his mates have so much influence it almost makes me want to quit watching the game.
Gibbs missed a major semi final for us….....yet Matai, with a LONG rap sheet gets let off.
It's a farce.
@Old Bluebag said:I've just read Greg McCallum's reasons for not suspending Matai and I must say that I've never read a greater load of Bollocks in my life. He more or less says that it was OK because Matai didn't make contact with his foot, and that it wasn't a real knee-drop, just a glancing blow! All I can say is that he must have been watching a different TV replay to the one that I saw. Perhaps they should have asked Yow Yeh, maybe checked out some bruises perhaps. Matai has terrible form, he's a menace and sooner or later he's going to seriously injure someone and it will be on the League's head. I'm also disgusted with all the Stooge Media Commentators who have "tut tutted' a little but haven't called for any penalty. Weak as the proverbial! I'm strongly against any kind of foul play in sport and my only consolation is that " those who live by the sword, die by the sword" in Rugby League and sooner or later Matai's going to get his - sooner rather than later, I hope. As for the Grand Final, well, after the Judiciary's decision no wonder most people hate Manly. I'm practising the Haka, and am hoping to see Manu Vatuvei run over the top of Brett Stewart at least twice. Go the Warriors!
