I've commissioned my grandchild, who is 5, to run the numbers.

According to Albert, with 6 rounds to go, the reality is as follows:

Wests Tigers 18 points
St George 10 points

Wests Tigers still have a BYE, so if we lose all 5 remaining matches we end up on 20 points (Our F/A will be approaching Australia's Budget deficit by then!)

St George can get to 22 points if they win all 6 of their remaining games (incl vs WTs) or 20 if they only win 5.

If Saints do win all 6, then Wests Tigers need to win at least 2 games vs Eels, Roosters, Cowboys or Penrith to avoid the Spoon, because our F/A is really bad and if the Drags do win 5 or 6 then it is likely they'll eat into their deficit.

St George play Dolphins, Sharks, Tigers, Dogs, Eagles, Eels.

The Maths is simple - We MUST beat the Dragons, which will guarantee us 22 points and put the Dragons' Spoon avoidance plans to rest.

SPOONBOWL 2026, Sunday 16th August 3.35 pm at Commbank Stadium, is gonna be a classic!

Thank you, Albert, who advised that should the Drags get beaten by the Dolphins & Sharks before Spoonbowl, then we are safe.

He's back to Kindy this week and has a pressing engagement with the Australian Labor Party over a million $ donation from, nudge nudge, a Chinese Billionaire whose Company owes the Australian taxpayer over $200m. Albert has been asked by Treasurer Gomer to do some rounding up. I told Albert to tell Gomer that the AFP should be doing the "Rounding Up" ... Pronto! Albert said, "isn't Pronto the Lone Ranger's sidekick"? ... It's his Milk teeth playing up again! His sister is 4, but she won't be taking appointments until the New Year. She's waiting for the Cuisennaire Rod Upgrade to v.CR2.0 Kids today eh? 🤓 🤓 🤓 🐯 🐯 🐯 🙃 🙃 🙃 🤣 🤣 🤣
