bell was great today against the panthers he was exactly what we have been missing in the forwards.

i think he may play heighington into a bench spot.

Yep agreed, I'm real impressed with Bell. He is a good defender, has great leg drive and makes good metres. Playing heaps better than Heighno at the moment.

he seemed to be making that stupid run where he runs back into the markers

maybe sheens instructions.. but he's been going great!

I was sitting amongst some smarky Panthers supporters today who SCOFFED at the idea of "Reserve Grader" Matt Bell Playing Lock for us, and kept reminding me that Adam Blair was "Money well spent"

Needless to say, Bell kept bending the line, and when Blair went in I erupted and they slumped back into their seats.

The same clown took a shot at Ray Cashmere for being a nuffie as well, and not even kidding, two plays later big Cashy ploughs over. Twas epic.

Honestly, Matt > Chris.
He looked like he was killing it @ lock.
Hitting up hard, running hard, having a real dig.

I'm sure he played extra hard because he was up against his old club but he's defo an under rated weapon that is going to end up being a great buy for us.

I too thought Bell had a good strong game. Maybe against your old club is good motivation. Hope he can keep it up.

Bell has been good for us all year.

i was one of his few supporters in the off season. we knew exactly what we were going to get from him. a committed defender, a good trainer, and a forward who was going to be good for us both on and off the field.

i was glad to see him get more minutes on the weekend. with him and Fulton plugging holes in the middle of the field and playing big mins, guys like Galloway, Cashmere, Moors, BMM can be used for impact, and we definitely had that on the weekend.

he isn't the type of player to take 20 hit ups and make 150m a game. but we will get the exact same performance from him every single week.

Great defensive effort, I swear he was in every tackle. Especially the ones that really counted. Hope Sheens keeps him there long term.

I thought bell was excellent today. If he puts in a few more games like that, he'll be hard to move out of the starting team

With Bell,Fulton and Farah fully fit we have a lot of defence in us

Will help out Woods ,Gallaway ,Blair and Groat out big time and they can concentrate on making some big yards for us

always said bell would be okay and he has gotten better every game , he will cover the loss of gibbs in defence and he made some good runs today , great signing hope they jump on him for 2 or 3 more years , and blair coming good , just a time in the team thing

a revelation at lock - can i say that - however expect sheens to throw rhino back in the fray. sheens is not that type of coach that plays players on form rather reputation.

Played great today.

Keep up the form and Heightington will have to start from bench or better still play State Cup.
