Time to have a lie down. That's a contender for most ridiculous post of the year on here, and we've had a few so far.

That's in the top 5 for sure haha. I love eisos defence. Just needs to be faster and more aggressive in attack. Post contact metres arnt great. In saying that a lot of forwards could improve in that area.

Corey Paterson Matt Eisenhuth

Luckily I will take your advice and not listen to you on this forum..

Cred = 0…

Almost as bad as that bloke who suggested Milone might be the next Renouf …...

To Omaga

Eisenhuth is a real asset to this team
He is a fighter in life and has fought hard for his place on this team
He has a great attitude in both
Some of us forum users need to remember where he has come from a few years ago to where he is today
It really is a feel good story
He is mixing it with the very best and holding his own while still very young
He is only going to get better
I am sure that Matt would have had plenty of other teams looking at him but he re signed with us because he believes in our team and the future this club has
He may even teach some of you doomsayers out there to stay positive and never give up
He hasn't

Gotta love the fans who bag out blokes who have only had one off season under their belts and played 22 games

Love the Huth , tough and uncompromising

Reckon a few will eat their words in a few years time , won't be a Lazarus or Webcke but the kid can play

Hear, hear :sign:

Any chance we could get both the player's name and the team name spelled correctly in the thread title?

Without meaning to be pedantic these are very basic things to get right.

A good solid player, thought he was already contracted for next year - so a one year extension?

Sorry Balmain Boy, I didn’t realise as I just woke up when I posted the article.

Ps I’m pedantic about grammar alot of the times too

Matt eisenhuth official plodder report

Speed 4/5
Explosiveness 4/5
Ability 3/5
Experience/ number of games 5/5
Wrongness of head 4/5

Total 20/25

The higher the score the more effective ploddering !

summary : he's a plodder , nothing to write home about …
But to give him credit he's a pretty good defender !!

Hi Hobbo. What’s wrongness of head?

Hobbo has this weird reasoning that you have to be a pretty boy to play Rugby League and if your not pretty your a plodder

Why he rates Chee Kam so highly

It's my scale, and when you are grading at a potential plodder, ugliness comes into it. Can anyone name for me a good or even decent looking plodder?

I believe however that Hobbo is miss-applying the fourth cetegory. It should be # matches vs ability, i.e. the best plodders are renowned for lacking speed or skill, and yet can still wrack up a decent length if career.

Jack Buchanan is a real Grade A plodder and somehow managed 41 NRL games and 33 ESL games.

Nick Youngquest is a model now.

Good looking plodder.

Question is, who is your ultimate plodder?

Was Jack Buchanan

then Matt Groat came along..you seen that guys head…

When Eisenhuth plays lock I always feel the opposition pack will struggle to get through our middle. He has good size and flexibility for a lock.

If you took a Gallen and stretched him on a medieval torture rack, then you would end up with something that looks like an Eisenhuth.

Ha. No.

Has been to the Nathan Hindmarsh school of flopping.

Big minutes, big stats, low impact. Is a depth signing, good to have around as long as we aren't paying too much for him.

Not a player you would build a side around or lock into a position when looking at recruitment.

All good mate, I can be off my game too especially before I get my caffeine hit and with autocorrect on my phone!

Leading the tackle count after coming off the bench. A great effort by Eiso yesterday!
