The Sharks managed to acquire Cherrington, have two Aust School hookers (the Brailey brothers) and are also chasing Segs from the UK. The Sharks did not extend McIllwrick and instead we have him and all I read is self congratulatory backslapping about how he is good third option backup! Please, who are we attempting to fool? Did we chase any junior rep hookers to fill the vacancy left by Cherrington's departure?

Liddle is filling the vacancy left by Cherrington… And they are working on Daniel Peck [junior rep] as Liddle's replacement.

to be honest we have needed to stiffen up our middle defense for a long time. We have very few hitters that stop people at the line. Ballins a hitter i liked the idea just hasnt worked out

not much use been a hitter when u never play, but he was never signed to play was he , it was just to get up robbies nose.

If we are going to run with 2 hookers in the 17 for a lot of this year with Ballin and Liddle, McIlwrick will be a very handy replacement when required.

Well a draw doesn't count as either a win or a loss. It counts as a draw!
It is impossible to win half a game happy.
You cannot win half of 9 games, you can win 4/9 with a draw but you still have only one 4 games and drawn 1

Et started better than well when he came to the club, but fell away towards the last few games. At his best he's a good buy. But hopefully this season we'll get to see some of his better side.
There was a few circumstances that contributed to him going off a bit, so it probably wasn't all his fault.
