Just wondering what circumstances he left our club. Was it on bad terms, was he sacked? Because listening to him on Grandstand at the game, he sounded like a guy with an axe to grind. He was absolutely relentless on us. Every decision, no matter how trivial, he sided with Penrith. It was sickening.

Even on fox sports the commentators were saying how good Penrith were and that they would beat us up the middle because we were tiring. Jimmy smith hang your head in shame, must have lost money on the chocolate soldiers…..

I've also heard Matty Head be like that towards us on Grandstand before, and I believe that the terms he left on were not hat good…

Mat head has always called it as he saw it - even when he was working for the club.

He's a radio journalist, he's been doin it for years, it's hardly personal.

I thought WT wanted the coaches to go fulltime, Head didn't want to, so he went to the Dragons… I'd have loved to keep him though, was a quality coach

That was Kimmorley BB - Head wasn't even spoken to in regards to retaining his position.

We should have at very least interviewed Head. Although maybe Head had also indicated he wanted to maintain his part time media roles this year so we never even asked him? Or he just wanted to go back to the club he spent most of his career with and presumable the area he still lives in ?

- He was only the ball coach… Wouldn't have needed to be full time.
Seriously, I spoke to him after he left the club and he was never even afforded a conversation.

Won a comp, Made the playoffs... And can't even get a chat in passing...

Yeah he was the Ball coach, but with Kimmorley going you'd think they'd at least have a chat to him. Even if it was just about gauging his interest and ideas. Peters has been good too, so i'm not upset about getting him and both would have done a better job than Kimmorley.

Head's Dragons are now ahead of our boys in NYC, though we were second until all these changes started screwing with our combinations.
