Matty Johns and the Wests Tigers

I can never forget the great contribution from Matty Johns, (behind the scenes), for our Wests Tigers in 2005 when we surged towards our Premiership victory.
He provided invaluable help to our team, and I presume he gave great advice to Scotty Prince and Benji Marshall.
As an avid Wests Tigers supporter all my life, I hope Ivan contacts Matty for advice this year and hopefully in 2018 as well.
I personally think it would be very beneficial to our side.

I posted a while ago when Moses and Brooks were little that we should bring Joey Johns in as he has a great footy brain, bring in the Johns brothers next year and we can see the true Luke Brooks with Reynolyds playing a very influential role next year!
 
I've been saying this for a long time (Matty) it can't hurt, and will only improve Luke's game.

What the Cocaine snorting pisspot? Ask Cooper Cronk who helped guide his career and who has just spent the last off season with Cameron Munster.
Billy Slater found out that CM was going to work with Matty he asked to go along, that can't be too bad an endorsement.
 
Can he work with the forum to help us improve our sense of humour. Me especially.
Oh and also could use some work on my infidelity and "group bonding"

Otherwise, if he can't do that, will take him as a footy whisperer for the halves.

"The Cocaine snorting pisspot?" as you call him - (heaven forbid someone should make an error) was so far ahead of his brother as a player, he would not have hit him with a cannon. I also dare to say he would be just as far in front of him as a coach. That is why he will never be considered as a candidate to be an Immortal.

You need to forget your prejudice and look at the ability.
 
Would much rather Mat than Andrew.
Mat seems the type who could teach. Andrew seems the type who could only 'do it'.
 
Matt I prefer. He would bring a better attitude.
Andrew was known to drag the boys off at Manly for schooners and lines after training.
 
Any specialised mentoring is a benefit and if the budget allows, should be continually sort after.

I'd like to see different names mentioned though, players like Matt Orford; Craig Gower & Scott Prince could offer players like Luke some great knowledge.

Greg Alexander..?

Justin Holbrook was one of the best but he is in Super League..

I think Ivan is smart enough to bring in the right people required..

Who was the last "Immortal" to coach a premiership team?
 
I don't think mentoring a player can turn them into something their not. You can't get tips from Andrew Johns and then play as good as him.
