Matty Johns on Brooks and Moses

Our halves will run the ball if small gaps open up. The problem is our forwards aren't put the opposition on the back foot enough.

If we have such a strong prop rotation why we our forwards get dominated in most games? Sure I agree that brooks and Moses can do a better job at helping our forward by controlling ball and field position but a number of games we just got outgunned from the get go.

It wouldn't surprise me if Brooks name comes up for SOO 3.
Some of NSWs selections have been just as stupid.

Well Brooks is leading the try assists and 3rd behind 2 qldsers for line break assists so i would say it wouldnt be the worst call for origin as he 10000% a future origin half if we did really want to invest in future he would be a good call and mayby with an oriign pack behind him just needs a decensive protectir

Maloney to 7 Moylan to 6 Teddy to 1 and in 12 months Moses to 7 in place of Maloney would be the way I would go. Radical picking players out of there normal club positions, but you have to get the most skilful players on the park

Brooks' position in club footy isn't even nailed down, let alone Origin.

Turn it up GNR, like Brooks is going to be dumped

I dont know why some are so hard on these boys, as individuals they would be playing top grade at all clubs, maybe bar one.

If Farah can be dumped whilst performing very well then why can't Brooksie with all the defence lapses he has had. We proved it yesterday we don't want amateur tackles.

I wonder what matty had to say about the situation yesterday?

Whilst I would not have a problem with that, I will believe it when I see it, some players are not playing under the accountability threat.

Last year Taylor coached the team to be robots and took all the creativity away from the young fellas. This year Moses has kicked on but sadly Brooks is very much like he was last year.

I think both have been brilliant. Moses is the running player whilst Brooks is the organiser. He leads in many statistics, amongst those are line break and try assists.

Yeah he isn't making ten line breaks a game but he is setting up tries and has a good kicking game.

I'm pleased by how far Brooks and Moses have come.

I mentioned in another post that if he doesn't go up to the next level next year they need to let him go - he will be wanting way over in dollars for what he is currently producing - he shows glimpses of his ability but just not consistent enough. We will need to pay big bucks to keep Teddy and Moses and on current form we can cover Brooks for a lot less than we will have to pay him.

Brooks, Moses, Teddy are a must its not optional we have coin for all 3.

I think they will go next level when Liddle takes over at 9 he is electric out of dummy half and has sharp service.
