my crazy out there theory is he will retire at the end of 2015 season
he won't get the contract he wants from the tigers with all the juniors re-signed, 2 more years and they will be both well and truly ready for firsts and probably both playing or at least have some games under their belts, and as such the tigers wont be able to justify a high contract for him
he wont get the contract from rugby (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/opinion/news/article.cfm?c_id=466&objectid=10895245)
and he wont sign a courtesy contract from the tigers as it was too cheap, he wont want that to be the lasting memory of him at the tigers and wouldnt want that value to be made public (cause of all the dramas thus far it will be a figure that will be known to the public) and as such will retire end of 2015
although i dunno how he knows this whilst holidaying in bali in the middle of the 2013 season, but he does
