I have watched him when he plays first grade and he did a half decent job. I don't mind him as depth. Works hard on the field and solid in defence. Like Seyfarth without the brain explosions and better physicality in contact.

I’ll be surprised if Mavrik overhauls Seyfarth on the depth listing next year … I wouldn’t mind it though ..

I got him currently at 5th edge looking at the squad next season providing he is considered ahead of Bird , but behind Sam, KPP, Seyfarth and Sukkar… not sure he is playing much NRL based on that ..but up to him to show otherwise

He has no leg drive... will fit in well

To be honest to everyone commenting, how much would he actually have to do to get ahead of Sukkar and to a lesser extent Seyfarth? If he can tackle at a high percentage (which most 2nd rowers can), and he can show any small ounce of line breaking ability, then he trumps them for mine.

A lot of talk about Geyer being big. I dont care what the stats suggest, he is a medium sized backrower at best. Good mobility and a decent signing for a year to see if he can develop. But he isnt big like everyone is suggesting.

I'd have him at 3rd choice.
Seyfarth is now maybe 7th choice for the back row. He's now maybe our 5-6th choice prop.
Sukkar maybe 6th choice back row, and 6-7th choice prop.
Geyer literally does everything better than these two. I'm not saying he's an all star, but compared to the rest we have he walks into 3rd choice currently.

I think people underestimate how terrible our current backrowers are.
Geyer isn't amazing but he tables better than these two, makes more metres than these two, and more line breaks than these two. He's not a starting back rower but he's still well ahead of Seyfarth and Sukkar.
